Larry and Laney's Soul Food

Let me say that each time me or my family have gone to the restaurant, the customer service has been phenomenal.
Now their fried chicken should be removed from the menu. It taste like something from a gas station that's been sitting for days.
The smothered chops is really tasty but I question the gravy. Greens and cabbage are tasty, the mac n cheese was definitely not cooked with soul. Kraft or Velveeta box mac n cheese taste better.
Would we go back? Yes because there's a few other items we want to try. Oxtails & Spaghetti
My family and I always try and give the benefit of doubt.
If you get the food when they first open its a little better than if you get it in the evening.

The guy seemed really nice. But the food is not it. 🥴This is not soul food. And to make matters worst they charge you a dollar more for yams that came out the can 😭 That was the worst loss of $40 spent on dinner.

Can’t say enough good about this place!! There’s no where to eat inside but the soul food is perfection! Highly recommend the chicken legs and the meatballs in their shanties honey sauce.

I sent my girlfriend in to grab food, and the owner (who I’ve known for years and is married) started flirting with her and trying to shoot his shot. That’s completely disrespectful—not just to me, but to his own marriage and the loyal customers who support his business. Very disrespectful

We tried Larry and Laney's for lunch after driving by it many times. Overall, I think it was fine, nothing stood out as above and beyond. I had 6 hot wings with greens and cabbage. The greens were warmer than the wings. Also, they lacked a kick. My favorite part of the dish was the cabbage. The owner was pleasant.

I just got some wings, Mac and Cheese with collard greens and wings was white, with sauce on top no flavor. I will not be coming back

Y'all this food was so good I wanted to slap somebody! lol Just kidding. No slapping, but the food was amazing! The Owners were so nice and professional! The food was season and cook to perfection! Bring your whole family! One plate is like 3 meals! I will go back again and highly recommend!

First time experiencing this place, I wanted some Yams and forgot until afterwards to order some. Ordered a plate with the honey glazed shrimp (6 pieces) and 2 sides (mac and cheese double order) the honey glazed shrimp was very delicious! However, the mac and cheese was lacking flavor even after adding salt and pepper. The Mac and cheese was a solid 8/10. The yams were 10/10 could have been less watery. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I may return to try the honey glazed wings!

Great customer service friendly service but unfortunately, I went for a second time. And didn’t really get a good experience with the food again The food was decent but not the best. My favorite choice though were the honey glazed meatballs they was good but sadly will not be back but I did enjoy the wonderful customer service!

The food was soulless. The Oxtails were bland in a water "gravy", the sides were mediocre, and the cornbread was like eating saw dust. Go somewhere else for soul food.

First time going they were really friendly but the food was horrible I had the oxtail I pay 0ver 30dollars and only got two tasteless oxtails the greens where can greens nothing was home made she told us every was homemade I was very very disappointed I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

I bought dinner for my family yesterday and the quantity of the food that I purchased wasn’t even worth none of it. How are you gonna sell two oxtails with sides for $30 a plate I spent $103 for three plates yesterday total disrespectful. I will never go back to this place and buy oxtails again.
