My very first time trying this place, the employee there wasn’t much help I guess he assumed what I wanted, past that I got the catfish with Mac and dressing. The food was so delicious I loved the Mac n cheese it was so good very good cheese pull the dressing was very tasty as well. And the catfish was just batter so well and cooked very crispy. 8.5/10 very much recommend would’ve wanted to try their yams but I guess I’ll try next time.

Let me start off by saying, the owner is very nice! He’s friendly and welcoming.

But with that being said, the food wasn’t good at all. Everything was bland. I really wanted to enjoy this but it missed the mark entirely. I’m even more mad because the dressing is just stove top stuffing that they seasoned. I appreciate fresh greens but they were bland. I was open minded about the jalapeños, but it doesn’t work. Scotch bonnets or something like that would be a better alternative.

My boyfriend was very upset because we also bought cake. It was nasty.

I want to continue to support my ppl. I don’t mind spending the money, I’d just like to have delicious food along with it.

The recipes need revamping.

I hate to do this but I had a horrible food experience. First, the food that was sitting all day our front didn’t look appealing so I ordered fresh fried catfish (which I paid extra for). I didn’t get catfish, I got tilapia. I hate tilapia, down to the smell. The sides were overly seasoned, very salty. I wanted to give a new spot a chance but ended up wasting a 20. The owner was very nice.

Ridiculous prices

The beans looked dry they had been sitting there for awhile. Not much flavor in the food. I ordered the turkey, got side of rice with gravy, Mac and green beans.

Ordered a breakfast burrito through the drive thru. Very hearty and lasted me two meals, customizable and delicious. It was hard selecting as everything sounded good. Looking forward to trying other options on the menu.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. Big disappointment. The owner was unenthusiastic and the food wasn't good, just like many people said in their complaints. I had the honey glazed wings with yams and cabbage. My bf had smothered pork chop, Mac and dressing. The wings were nice sized but the glaze was runny. The cabbage was bland no seasoning or flavor.The chop was good. The Mac tasted like it was just baked with cream cheese and shredded cheese on top. I wasn't impressed at all.

Ox tails on point. That was my first order. But the fried catfish look good also.

The food was cold and old the macaroni and cheese had no cheese. It was just extremely salty. I went today Friday. It was terrible. The pork chop had zero seasoning. The greens had zero seasoning and the potato salad was so rainy. It ran out of the bag the presentation was horrible. Service was horrible. I would not recommend this place to anybody.
