Dinner at Le Jardinier was outstanding. I had the cod in a delicate champagne sauce—seasonal, elegant, and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the duck, which was rich, tender, and beautifully done. There was a small dessert fumble (the wrong sweet surprise arrived first 😄), making things briefly awkward—but it was quickly corrected and honestly added a human, memorable moment to an otherwise polished experience. Wonderful food, thoughtful cooking, and a meal we'll be talking about for a while.
Fantastic meal with excellent service. The large cheese plate was so good (5/5) and the burrata salad is a long time favorite (5/5). The table mains were the chicken main and the pork main.
I've been dining at Le Jardinier since it opened. The ambiance and food are always perfect.
Amazing overall experience-service on point-food was outstanding and atmosphere upscale but approachable!
Food was outstanding. Service was good nothing to complaint but not what you will expect for a 1 star Michelin.
It is a very elegant restaurant with great service and good food. Definitely at the fancy level, good for celebrating anniversaries, birthdays and other important events.
In these economic times, it is hard to recommend any restaurant. Especially to those who can cook. Le Jardinier has made itself an incredible exception. While obviously not an every day restaurant, I have never once regretted dining here.
The food was excellent, no complaints there. I think we all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant has a lovely setting. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, the service was a little slow--perhaps understaffed. And I don't mean that I expected fast food. We had a nice long lunch that was well paced, but things like drinks not appearing with a course (one person was almost done with her plate) felt off, from my experience. Everything we ate was perfect, but despite that, I'm not sure we'll return.
I absolutely loved this restaurant and would definitely come back. Everything was more than excellent. The only small issue was that parking made the restaurant a bit difficult to find at first. Clearer signage would be very helpful. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!
Kind of pretentious for level of culinary art. Odd mix of patrons on a Saturday afternoon given location.

We celebrated our daughter's 30th birthday here. We selected the tasting menu for the table. Starting with the bread basket and all the way thru the entire 5 courses, the food was excellent! Presentation was superb, wait staff was attentive without being intrusive, and we all decided it was the best meal we'd had in a long time! Highly recommend! Wagyu beef and the scallops were phenomenal!
The setting was beautiful and peaceful and the service was top notch. The food was perfectly blanced and appealing to the eye an palate. We had the four course fall tasting menu and my favorites were the burrata and the mushroom course. Wew ere celratng my mother's birthday and they presented her with the most lovely birthday cake and it was delicious.
Combined a visit to the Louvre Couture exhibit with lunch at Le Jardinier to celebrate my daughter's new job and my retirement. The food was delicious, and our server, Jonathan, made the meal an exceptional experience—such a wonderful part of the MFAH campus.
Excellent in every respect: The food, the service, the presentation of the dishes, the ambiance, the decoration of the restaurant. A memorable experience. Thank you very much!
The service and ambiance were impeccable making you feel welcomed as well as taken care of. The food and wine pairing for their autumn prix fix menu were incredibly well thought out. The sommelier was excellent and very knowledgeable about her pairings as well as the food notes the wines were going to enhance. Some dishes were a bit on the smaller side but nonetheless some of the most delicious bites I've experienced in some time.
