Lee’s Sandwiches (often stylized as Lee’s Sanitwich or Lee Sanwish) in Houston’s Chinatown is a beloved spot—especially if you're after authentic Vietnamese coffee and a satisfying banh mi.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely the best bánh mì and Vietnamese iced coffee in Houston! The bread is always fresh and crispy, the meats are flavorful, and the pickled veggies give the perfect crunch. Their combo sandwich is my go-to—so satisfying and affordable.
But what really keeps me coming back is the cà phê sữa đá. It’s strong, rich, and just sweet enough. You can tell it’s made the traditional Vietnamese way—perfect for a morning boost or mid-day pick-me-up. I even take home a bottle sometimes!
The service is fast, the location is clean, and the menu has great variety. Whether you're Vietnamese or just love great food, this place hits the spot. Highly recommend!

We picked up a euro turkey, salami, and Swiss sandwich and a beef banh-mi yesterday and both of them tasted extremely bland and dry. The salami on the euro sandwich tasted really strange and I wondered if the meat had gone bad. Nobody got sick, so I guess it hadn't, but it tasted super weird. Wouldn't recommend the sandwiches here.

Bought 2 avocado smoothies and a strawberry smoothie. Worst of those smoothies I’ve ever had. Tastes like I’m eating a 2 week old avocado.

I had a bad experience at the drive-thru on the afternoon of 6/28. The guy wearing glasses was rude and had an attitude with me for no reason. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

It’s the best banh mi I’ve ever had in the U.S.
Their baguettes are baked so fresh that they stay crispy the next day somehow! I’ve had about a million and one banh mi’s in my lifetime and theirs is like the most well put together. Vindictive of like a fancy deli sandwich unlike most others if that makes sense. Their menu variety has something for everyone and ofc you can’t not grab their infamous coffee to compliment your breakfast! This place lives up their hype and I’m glad to see that

I ordered a Viennese’s coffee and it was filled with 90% ice. I asked the worker if she can add more liquid because it was filled with mainly ice and she proceeded to ask me to get a spoon and take it out right there at the cashier… she couldn’t add more liquid. Don’t waste your time/ money.

I always come here for Vietnamese coffee. I like Lee's Vietnamese coffee more than most places because it's very strong. Once in a while I get their banh mi, their croissant sandwiches are a lot tastier and also you get a bang for your buck. The patechauds are always really good and their steamed meat buns are not bad at all either. It's a good quick stop for food & snacks.
