I was so incredibly sick and one of my neighbors had gotten me their Chicken Pazole and it was the only thing I could keep down so I sent my husband to get me some more. In addition to the soup he asked if it came with bread or crackers and they generously gave us The SourDough project crackers. A simple $5 to go order had made me a client for life and not just when I'm sick. Fabulous treatment!

I have been going here a couple times a week since they are in the basement of my building. Local Kitchen was great when it first opened, but they have been changing their menu and the way they cook their food and it is not as good. For example, they use to have amazing spiced batter fries (worth the calories), but now they have changed to just standard fries that are not very impressive. You also have to check your order, since it is incorrect about a 1/3 of the time.

I tried this place for breakfast and it was very good. They have limited menu for breakfast: breakfast tacos, biscuits, french toast, and a breakfast with eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, biscuits or toast. They also have a lunch menu. It is owned by the same people who owns Otto's, which moved to Pennzoil Place in the tunnel. I opted for the french toast with bacon. It was around $6 and cooked fresh. I thought gave an ample amount of bacon. It was very crispy. They are in the basement (tunnel system) if Chase Tower. So, they do have downtown tunnel hours in closing around 4:30. I would definitely return, again.

I ordered a Santa Fe Salad to go which was supposed to have avocado chunks in it. They were completely missing. Parts of the salad tasted like blue cheese which tells me they must have used the same utensils to prepare the food. As a blue cheese hater the taste is overpowering and just not acceptable. This experience really killed it. Will not go back.
