Been going here for 5 years. Every time my mom comes into town, she asks to drive all the way from Katy to go to Local Poke. They are generous with their portions and they have the best poke bowls in Houston, hands down!
Insanely good. Like, honestly insanely good. Have eaten at so many different poke places in Houston. This one is just levels above the rest. Try it out. When I walked in to pick up my order the guy even said “Hey I saw that you wanted something extra. Made sure to add it for you.” That little bit of customer service went a long way.
Parking: Be careful to park in the correct parking lot. They are sticklers about it on Washington Ave.

We live directly behind a pokeworks, and I still go up the street to get local poke instead. Their portions and service are unmatched in comparison. Everyone there is extremely friendly, I don't think I've ever walked into this place once and was disappointed by the customer service. Quality of food and portion sizes are also superior to any other local pokéspot in my opinion.
