Parking is limited so be aware of that fact, if you are already familiar with the Montrose of the past, you know the deal.Love Buzz is a Pizzeria and Bar located on Westheimer inside the Historic Montrose District. The layout is used very well and upon walking up you can usually hear music coming from the patio of this restored and renovated house. Very quirky and fun, like all things should be on this side of town. There is a few arcade games sandwiched to the right as you walk in the door and a old-school jukebox with mostly 90’s nostalgia ranging from Rap to Alternative with some feel good jams in between. The staff is very nice and seemingly artistic themselves, they never come off as pretentious or unapproachable, and you will usually see regulars or new patrons ranging from twenty somethings to seasoned heights folk. The food is top tier! My personal favorite is the standard Margherita with fresh mozzarella, basil, and delectable tomato sauce. For good measure, I add pepperoni and it’s one of the best pies you can get in Houston. There are other choices for those with more adventurous tastes with names that make it fun to order. For those that seek stiff drink, or ales they have you covered. You can sit on the patio and people watch, or you might stay inside for the atmosphere and good conversation. Like all good bars they do have a TV that usually tuned to something fun or a good conversation starter. The owner is super nice and will give a few minutes to anyone with good energy. Do yourself a favor and give this place your patronage. We need more spots like this in Houston with a passion for people and food. So stop by to pregame for a Friday night, a nightcap, or just to have some good eats.Parking: Parking located at the front and back of the business next door. About 7 spots.

I tried calling to place an order and was left on hold for 9 minutes. They claim ordering online was faster but when i hung up and called back it took 15 seconds to give my name, order, and number(i was driving and couldn’t navigate a website). Even people that smoke pot have a better work ethic than that. They were pissed that i was actually calling to place an order. When i arrived i waited another 5 minutes so the bartender could wash glasses in the sink. Im almost certain he was the guy i spoke with over the phone and was upset i had placed a phone order so he intentionally made me wait longer. Theres literally no other way i could explain it. He finished a drink he was making before i arrived and i was fine with that as someone ordered in house previously to my entrance but he proceeded to clear all the tables wash the glasses then give me my cold pizza i was waiting for at the bar for ten minutes. Keep in mind there are only 2 patrons in the place, one at the bar, and one at a table. It took 20 seconds to pay and get my order but it was a 10 minute ordeal. Again im fine with you making drinks but i dont wanna watch you wash dishes while i wait on my cold pizza.

Stick to the other pizza places in houston. Theres plenty more. the guy in charge was yelling at us repeatedly and had not an ounce of respect for us customers who couldn’t get our to go order bc of a name issue. He blatantly lied and said there weee no to go orders, was incredibly rude and accused us of lying about a fake order and not having bank money to go through with an order. Asked for a managers contact information and was not given anything at all, was only told this was “incredibly stressful” for him. You will not catch us or anyone in our graduate program coming here again.

Terrible pizza waited 15-20 min for the back of the house dude to drop 2 ice cold slices of pizza in front of my wife and I's face then walk away with out a word. Let the bartender know the pizza was cold and waited another 5 minutes for them to bring back the same bitten pizza reheated and now rubbery and hot :). They didn't seem to really give a crap about the customers or the food coming out and we're more worried about chatting with their friends at the bar. 10/10 don't recommend paying $14~ for 2 slices of dry reheated pizza. Franks and even pepperonis down the street is bomb

Pretty good pizza. Very fresh and tasty. A bit overpriced and doesn't stand out too much for the price but it's a good solid pizza place. Cheese sticks were average. Nothing fancy or extravagant but a nice low key place to hang out. Service is order at the bar but was quick specially considering only one guy working the bar and pizza orders.

this place could be 5 stars, BUT the accessibility for wheelchair user is ZERO stars.as someone who works for the ADA and the "ramp" to get in is NOT compliant. I will not be back.Wheelchair accessibility: NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE OR ADA COMPLIANT!

Eclectic in design and in menu options, Love Buzz offered $5 "Pizza of the Week (slice)" specialists, as well as $4 cheese slices (and $5 pepperoni slices). The pepperoni pizza was not my favorite mainly b/c of the hard crust, but I am happy that I gave the Potent Purple Punch (tequila, elderberry, lemon, simple syrup) a try during Happy Hour (half off from 4pm - 7pm). The parking is extremely limited, so I'd recommend ride-sharing, if possible. If I were to return, I'd want to try some of the more niche pizza options and would be curious to know their sizes since the slices weren't the most generous....

I struggle with Crohn’s Disease, so I am extremely selective when I choose to put my body at risk to enjoy a pizza. I haven’t had the luxury to have an amazing slice of pizza for about a year now due to my disease. After a long day at work I wanted Pizza and I was in the area and I remember 5 years ago I came to Love Buzz and had the best slice of pizza in town with a friend who now has past. So not only was I there for a slice of pizza but I was honoring the death of a friend. I wish I could say I left happy, but unfortunately I left very sad. The pizza was paper thin, and had no movement, it was burnt. It was cold, and stale and I’m not exactly sure if it had cheese. I am a practicing Buddhist and do not believe in the wasting of food, so I ate it, I also ate it to honor the death of my friend and the last memory I had at this place. As for the service, it was cold, no warmth, no hospitality, no kindness or empathy. Unfortunately now, I’ll look at this place and only remember sadness. God bless.

The price went up for my friend to end up getting a paper thin burnt slice of pizza with no cheese.

This place was completely disgusting! I ordered this food and it came cold, stale, dry, and just overall taste was atrocious. Somebody at this hotel suggested this place and I regret it. They gave us old pizzas! This place is horrible it should be illegal to eat here!

You can have a drink and eat a slice, but just to let you know is not worth it. Be ready to get the thinnest pizzas ever. Is like a tortilla slice thin. Not worth the 4 dollars per slice. They might say yeah is because the style of the pizza, b shit. 2 stars too much.

They sell pizza by the slice: cheese, pepperoni, & whatever the special of the day is, you can’t add additional toppings so I got a medium size pizza for myself. The pizza was so good, the drinks are strong, and the atmosphere is a chill vibe. I’ll be back!

I would just like to say that I am a cheese stick fanatic. And I have heard about this place and googled and searched for pics and reviews about their cheese "blunts" and there were none I could find. So for all of those people in the same curiosity as I once was let me leave this for you......the cheese sticks are not really good. The breading takes away from the cheese flavor and you are just left with a bland old taste in your mouth. I had high expectations but I was unfortunately disappointed. The pizza is good and flavorful but the cheese blunts are a miss in my book. But hey who am I? My opinion doesn't really matter anyway. Good vibe and great service through.
