Love Lucille's! I always order the collard greens and Mac and cheese sides to go at the end of the meal because I know I will miss it by the time I am home!
Absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was soooo good!! And the service was amazing! You def need to make a reservation if you want a chance to get in!
There are no words to express the magic of this place. It is an experience to say the least to be in a restaurant that feels like visiting family. The service is STELLAR at the bar, or at a table. The food, the FOOD is EMOTIONAL. And the speed at which it comes out🤯. Like a Diana Ross costume change. The portions may cause you to adjust those bottoms you wore. The cocktails are gorgeous and gastronomical delights within themselves. Love this place.
Southern hospitality with soul. Beyoncé's Sir Davis whiskey cocktails were delicious. Loved their wine list which supports minority and women-owned businesses. Oxtail omelet was a stand out. Highly recommend
The food and drinks was amazing and we enjoyed great service from our waitress M. This place was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad she advised us of this gem
Lucille's was fantastic. Our server Rick was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. The food was delicious and the service made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
First time visiting and last time. It was very loud, the restaurant is very dirty and run down inside. Needs major cleaning as the walls are dirty, chipping paint. Tables are sticky and grungy, chairs are miss matched and not done purposely. Food was good but service was terrible, had to ask for appetizer plates, mains arrived with our dirty plates still sitting in front of us. They then didnt get removed but just pilled up on our small sticky table. Not sure why the hype for this place, over priced for a grungy place that needs to be cleaned and painted!
First time to dine here for lunch. All three of us really enjoyed our meals. Service was great. Will definitely go back.
Our server was amazing (refer to check #210), the food was delicious, and that bread pudding was scrumptious! You'll see us again!
Every time I visit Houston, I have to visit Lucille's! The food was just as good as I remembered. Service was great. I recommend to everyone visiting Houston to check out Lucille's!

As a visitor from out of state who decided to dine at Lucille's for her first time in Houston, I expected better customer service from the hostess. The servers were amazing. I had initially had a reservation for 7, but learned they had a happy hour from 4-6 pm, so I came early in hopes to cancel my reservation and sit at the bar for happy hour. The hostess was reluctant and said she "guesses she'll allow me to sit at the bar". Mind you, the bar was empty and it was 5:30pm. I thought was a rude statement to say to a customer looking to dine at your establishment. The hostess sat me in the farest corner of the bar. As a solo traveler, I thought her actions were unnecessary as the bar was empty. However, the food and servers made the experience better.
Lucille's is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston. We got to treat my uncle to a Father's Day dinner yesterday and it was amazing. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was a vibe. Will be back!
Our first time there, and we loved it! everything was perfect and the different combination of flavors was yummy. We will be back.
I've been to Lucille's several times and have enjoyed it so I was disappointed with this experience. First, their valet service was either overwhelmed or disorganized so we had to park in the garage on the next block. Next, even though we were 5-10 minutes late due to parking, our table still wasn't ready with a reservation. Then several parties were seated before us! Finally we were seated at a sticky table. It was also very warm in the entire restaurant. They do not have any Sauvignon on the wine list, which is very limited. My partner's bar order also didn't come out until the entrees were served. Thankfully, the food was stellar, as always. I just did not expect this kind of visit at one of Houston's iconic restaurants.
We had the catfish and grits! It was excellent and Sheldon, our server was awesome! We'll be back!
