Lucky Village Chinese Buffet

Me encantaba ir con mi familia a este restaurante ! Pero YA NO MÁS ! Resulta q según ellos publican los niños pagan bufete de niños pero ahora hay que medirlos y según sea la medida de los niños pagan , o no por niño ! Fuimos con una nena de 8 años , de padres altos y resulta ser q fue considerada como ADULTA ! Muy feo todo ! Lo siguiente es que no se ha terminado de comer y ya está la empleada , SIN PEDÍRSELO , con la cuenta , la galletita que dan al final , tal mente parece q te están apurando y deseando que te vayas ! Muy feo también , demoramos en pagar porque disfrutábamos de nuestros platos y la empleada pasaba , no creo q esté correcto y ya leí que otros clientes o comensales se quejaban a lo q decía q mirarían esto tan desagradable pero nada , siguen con lo mismo ! No da gusto así volver a ese restaurante q se precia de calidad !

Everything is very good except the cleaning of the bathrooms, and they always charge you 5% even if you leave them tips

IMO, this buffet is huge with an excellent array of foods. Like any buffet, the struggle is in keeping food hot enough and keeping things that should be crispy (like egg rolls) crispy enough. I'm fine if my food is not "piping hot," but my husband would prefer his food hotter. Overall though, I think the food is very good and an excellent value.

This place needs a face-lift. Everything was old looking and dull. The place was dark, and the food was cold and not advertising. The only thing they had going for them was the customer service from the server.

Pretty good for the price! The waitress was very attentive, she kept the glasses filled and the table clean. There was hot food coming out to the buffet often too.

so they supposedly have a policy where if your kids is bigger than 4.00 ft taller and his 9 years old is considered as adult thats the most dumbest policy i have heard . it just too be nice buffet I just too Come with my grandpa all the time until he passed away and want it to bring my little nephew and son and they charging them as adult and the service is bad also .

Kid-friendliness: is bad if your kids is taller than 4 feet they will charge them as adult.

Great food and even better service, super polite and attentive. Definitely coming back

Although the service was professional and very friendly, the food's flavor profile was reminiscent of two-day-old leftovers, which was disappointing. My sampling of various dishes yielded unremarkable flavors and repeated disappointment. Moreover, most items, excluding the soup, were served at an unappetizing room temperature. Given my initial excitement to try this restaurant based on favorable reviews, I am disheartened and wondering about the origin of these positive reviews. I was sick to my stomach for two days after eating here.

Came here on Friday, big selection of food. My waiter WILLIAM was absolutely terrible though. He sat in a chair and stared at my mother and I throughout our entire meal. He also kept bring unnecessary items to our table every 10 minutes like extra plates and napkins as if the table didn’t already have a napkin dispenser. We literally just wanted to eat in peace. The whole experience was horrible and uncomfortable with WILLIAM especially when it was time to pay ( He thought we were going to run off on the bill because we are darkskin). He literally followed us to the counter and stood there to watch us pay the cashier. No one else was treated like that. The food was decent enough though. Not returning.

Literally have been coming here since I was 15, I’m 37 now. Not sure what happened or what they’ve been dealing with on Westheimer but I come in to eat by myself (I’m black) and it does not escape me that I was sat in the back corner by the exit and the manager and another server came to sit at a table right behind me to eat some food. Got up as soon as I finished entrees. The server brings my check while I’m having dessert and stands there and waits for the payment, I said I’ll pay at the front like I always have, she says pay at the table. I say I’m using Apple Pay and she says “ok come with me”…I have ice cream dripping down my hand, like can I finish or you think I’m gonna run?!? I asked them if they hover over all their guests while they’re still enjoying the meal or if that’s special treatment for me. The manager continued to make excuses that she just wanted to get the check promptly but I watched her drop check at other tables and walk away not batting an eye. Haven’t been here in a couple years, won’t be back.

It’s really bad they don’t have good food and the service it’s really bad one of them she ask me to give her 20$ tips she told me I have too I tell her excuse me I was going to give a tips but not when she ask me that way
