Got there shortly after they opened, selection of food was really good, service good, environment nice and clean, quality of food was found to be disappointing; food was old, stale, cold; some foods that stood out were the egg rolls that looked like they were soaking in oil, the pork and beef ribs were way too sweet; what a big disappointment, I was really looking forward to a having good food experience here, now off to explore and find a wonderful food experience that this place did not have

I use to love buffets before the Pandemic, so I decided to stroll into Lucky Village here on Westheimer. It’s so sad to say that it seems as though they have the same food that they did prior to the pandemic. No surprises. Even worse, the food tasted like it had been sitting there since the pandemic. No lie. I didn’t enjoy the food at all. Definitely not worth the $18.39 I was charged. Also, it just didn’t feel clean in the restaurant. I hope Lucky Village revamps this place, because it’s just terrible.👎🏽

The hostess and the waitress are very nice and attentive. Some food a little salty. I have been coming here for years and never got sick. I recommend this buffet. Now they serve more drinks. They have soups,sushi, ice cream, chicken, ribs, pizza, shrimp, beef, fish, muscles, oysters, crawfish ,octopus, crab salads, fruit, and more.

I love a quick buffet when I’m particularly hungry and today was one of those days. Looked for local buffet and I found myself here .. unfortunately. While there isn’t anything inherently terrible about the food , service and atmosphere. It truly is unwelcoming. I got here in time for a late lunch , about 45 minutes before it ended and it was clear they were stalling putting out fresh food. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was old. Usually I can’t tell when it old because I’m greedy just scarfing it down but the extra grease , over heated , stale food was sooo off putting and not worth the $18 I spent . Should be zero stars but I figure the selection was adequate.

Be very careful and make sure to read the tio part because they’ll add it without you knowing they are very sneaky we left the waiter a tip in cash and they still added it to the reciept with out me knowing
We arrived 15 minutes after they opened. Most of the food was cold…egg rolls, crab ragon, lo mein noodles and beef dishes. Wonton soup was horrible…wonton noodles mushy. Sweet and sour chicken was doughy, not cooked thru. The only thing half way decent was the sushi and that wasn’t anything to write home about. The staff was friendly. Would not recommend.
