I took a chance on this Father’s Day to provide something different to my dad, although he LOVES banana pudding. So I searched on Google and came across Lucy Pearl’s. Let me tell you… that Banana Pudding Cake is AMAZING! I am so glad I took the chance! I will definitely be back. I’ve already told soooooo many people about it! Whoever thought of that cake is a genius!

A random late night craving for cake had me stumble upon Lucy Pearl's, which was the only bakery serving cake that was still open. And what a serendipitous encounter it ended up being. We chose a Betty Lou slice. I was SHOOK after the first bite. It was the best cake I can remember having. SO moist and surprisingly, "not too sweet", the ultimate Asian dessert compliment.
