Their pastries are top tier but the coffee is lacking. I ordered a dirty chai latte and they gave me a normal so I had to send it back. I watched the barista pour out a quarter of the drink and just add coffee and send it back to me and it tasted horrible. Chai is not just tea coffee dude. I ended up just telling them to add vanilla to it because I needed to leave in a hurry and ended up tossing it in the trash been before I even left. Terrible terrible terrible. Dirty chai is so basic.

We spent $20 and it was a bit disappointing.
Got a croque monsour, chocolate au pain and flan.
The food was just ok; the flan was a bit dry.

It’s located in the heart of Houston downtown area on a weekend morning we were able to grab a spot pretty quickly. It does have some tables pretty picturesque seating and decor.
The service is amazing the server was attentive and very friendly.
Food was definitely a big disappointment the canelle was undercooked inside for $3 tag you don’t want lump of dough inside.
The quiches were okay not soo good. The kouign Amann had the taste but shape was kind of awkward. The coffee was very good something on a brighter side.

Great coffee shop in Downtown Houston. Good coffee, the croissants are good (good price) and the Pain au chocolat are excellent.

Delicious, authentic French pastries
Dropped in for breakfast. Worth the walk. Baguettes are especially good and excellent value.

Best place in Houston. Everything tastes delicious. The sweets are not very sugary which I love. The baguete, croissants and almond croissant are exactly like in France! Coffee is great too! Please don’t ever change.

I support this small business 1,000% and I have been a proud customer since it opened about six years ago. The husband and wife owners are from Normandy, France, and I find them quite charming and kind. They work hard every day and they greet customers when the staff are helping other customers. Since they tend to be busy, especially on the weekends, patience is required. I recommend any of the selections of hot tea imported from France, the salmon sandwich, the goat cheese quiche.

I am all about croissants so here’s my verdict: 4/10. They were flaky on the outside which was great. Doughy yet fluffy on the inside which was also great! But, the buttery smell and taste you would get with a really good croissant just wasn’t there. Maybe next time? The atmosphere was good, just a little noisy since the beautiful ceiling is very high. The service was great, apart from one waitress who ignored us - maybe she was shy or maybe she didn’t hear us.

Love the fresh French pastry
One of the best French bakery coffee shops in town. We make a point to stop by anytime we are in the area.
