I've been dining in and talking out from this little gem of a restaurant for more years than I can remember. The food is always fresh and delicious. You will be left wanting more. I love all of their dishes. Especially their empanadas!!

Really good attention to service and the chicken empanadas were delicious! I’m definitely coming back to try the beef empanadas this weekend.

Classic Argentine comfort food and pastry cafe for over 20 years! I have always like their empanadas and they beat the competitor….especially in price.

It's actually sad to write this comment as I've been consistent to this place my entire life, but I do need to highlight that is a shame how much they are charging for the empanadas consiring the size they are making it now. I get the inflation issue! I get the price of egg and meat! But you should be always true and consistent to what you have always offered. The empanadas are literally the half size of what it's supposed to be and don't let me tell you the price as it's just about $4 each. Disappointment is a statement today. I am not I will be going back anymore. It's delicious, but just not worth anymore.

As always the empanadas an atmosphere is stunning and more welcoming when I see the smiles of Sandra and Manena!!! Check out the cakes for special celebrations , one of a kind and so delicious .. pastries mouthwatering

This the real essence of a genuine old school mom and pop place. Felt like grandma was in the kitchen preparing very awesome dishes. The empanadas were over the top.

I used to come here for coffee. Nice place to have coffe and some Argentine pastry. I.like the environment. Tried some empanadas.its pretty good. Staffs are friendly.

I'm a regular here, I love the empanadas and the owners Sandra and Manena rock. I always go here for my celebration cakes they are delicious and so beautiful

So happy to have found a slice of home here in Houston. Amazingly good miga sandwiches and really good beef empanadas. The dough and flavors were spot on. Super yummy. Staff is friendly and they have small selection of Yerba Mates and other snacks.

i had the lomito sandwich and the alfajores. and it was funny that the manager thought that they took too long, so she gave me a free drink, i told her i didn't feel like i did, but she insisted. very attentive. and then the food was outstandingly delicious!!! amazing spot, for people that would like something new and different.

Excellent!! The service, customer service, fresh products, reasonable prices and cleanliness are essential, we have consumed on site and also ordered to take away, we ordered cake for birthdays on different occasions and they have made works of art, the children were happy, thank you very much to the entire Manena's team!!! Tried the Prosciutto sandwich and the Lomito. Both were good, but the prosciutto was my favorite. A big portion, but not heavy. Also had a corn and a beef empanada, which were fine.

I ordered meat, chicken and ham/cheese empanadas. Cornstarch alfajores and a palmerita.The empanadas were average, a little small for my taste, but of good taste. The palmerita was half dry, perhaps because it had been on the counter for several hours. The cornstarch alfajores are good.The setting stayed in the 20's.Good attention.
