This location is horrible and they hide the honest reviews. I've lived in the area for 30 yrs. Used to take my kids here when there was a different owner. Years ago it was nice.However the S. Post Oak location (near W Bellfort) is WONDERFUL! Owned by someone else who values the product and the customer.This is franchised business and this owner (at Holcombe) just doesn't get it. I haven't returned here since the last rude employee experience a couple of years ago.

I’m done giving this place chances. We’ve gone several times because it is close, and every time it has been bad. The employees are super unhelpful, they have messed up our orders multiple times, and this last time they gave hot fudge that literally tasted like toxic waste and had a terrible texture. Never going back!

I’m a Marble Slab fan, haven’t had in years though. In Houston for extended visit in Med Center/Upper Kirby area. Went here after a nice dinner with friends. Probably wouldn’t visit this location again. No one behind the counter understood English completely. Very difficult to communicate what you want when English is not spoken. One person in our group tried to communicate what scoops he wanted on banana split and didn’t end up with what he requested. If I hadn’t been paying attention, I would have ended up with dried malted powder blended with my scoop instead of malted milk balls, which they didn’t have and didn’t know what I was talking about. Enjoyed ice cream, but not the service for the cost!

Read the comments before coming here. The dude with round glasses is plain rude. We asked for a warmed brownie with ice cream on top. He didn’t listen and went ahead and mixed it in with the ice-cream. We are nice so we understand when misunderstandings happen and we didn’t say anything about that. Then, when he put the ice-cream in the cup, we tell him to top it off with nuts. And he said “why didn’t you ask for that before?” With a nasty attitude. DUDE. It’s a TOPPING, it goes at the end; ice cream places always ask “would you like to add a topping?” Near the end of the service.The other 2 guys were ok, but the scrawny guy with the round glasses is plain rude and has his air-pods on while working.

customer service very bad short. A short man with glasses works, he gives really terrible service, I don't understand how he works in such a place. I don't think you should go here

Customer service was great. I was looking for a certain cake and I didn't know you had to order in advance. The guy that helped me, decorated one at last minute just like i wanted it. Service was fast. I am very happy. Will be coming back.

we love marble slab but this location has very poor service! we walked in about 8:30 pm. they were getting ready to close .my husband asked a question about cup sizes, and the guy with glasses, didnt even bother to answer. did have a very bad attitude . My personal opinions is that This is an icream shop where people are looking to see smiling faces rather than lazy robots.

Up charged me and tricked me on purpose. Also the longest i’ve ever had to wait for a scoop of ice cream and the workers were rude.

First time going and the customer service was really poor. My wife asked for two scoops in a waffle cone and the worker just told her no, he then asked if I wanted one or two scoops. We won’t be coming back to this place.

Bad customer service by a guy with a black shirt, glasses and AirPods on. He doesn’t have patience at all, as well the waffle bowl that we got tasted like burn. The only person treat us right and great customer service is a guy that was wearing white shirt and a hat. I won’t go back to this place ever again. The only reason I try it, it was because the Taylor’s location by the Heights it was close. That’s the best place ever we could order our ice cream, the personal knows how to provide great customer service, plus the ice cream and the ice cream bowls are great so much better.
