If you're from Southern California this is the best Mexican food you can find in Houston. California burrito, carne asada fries, even rolled tacos. Mario is incredibly friendly and the restaurant has a nice, quiet atmosphere. This has become a weekly stop as a little reminder of home now.

Was getting my vehicle Serviced and needed to pass some time so I stumbled across this place. Lucky for me I was able to meet the owner Mario. Very nice gentleman who kinda guided me on what to maybe try since it was my first time there. All I can say is the breakfast tacos 🌮 are the hit and the quesadilla had me so stuffed I was out of commission the rest of the day. Try this spot you’ll thank me later !!

Always go here for a good breakfast burrito treat. 3 years later editing this review the food is still amazing and I'm glad Mario's is still open even through covid. Almost 10 years going there now. The food was absolutely amazing my first time being there. The burger I had made me feel like it was made from home and the bun had a soft crisp to it. It was neatly prepared. It was so good I couldn’t finish the fries.
I also had the cheese sticks, they were so cheesy and delicious. The owner was very polite and respectful. Definitely a go too and definitely coming back(:
