I love the convenience of being able to buy fantastic pies by the slice or whole at this Houston spot. Their apple pie is a highlight - I buy extra to freeze for later and enjoy it microwaved with vanilla ice cream. I haven't explored their other menu items, but I'm sure they're delicious too.

My potato egg & cheese breakfast tacos were disgusting. No flavor at all.

Best pies in Houston. I buy their apple pie and freeze part for later. Micro-wave to warm and apply vanilla ice cream. I suspect the other food is good as well, but I go specifically for their pie selections (sold by slice or whole pie).

I only went there bc my son swore that the tacos were the best thing ever, and I was excited to try them. I am also appalled at how easy it is to lure people into low quality food. The big piece of chicken on each tortilla (not fresh at all, and to think that HEB has fresh tortillas every day...) is the same we all get from Tyson frozen bags, etc. The buffalo sauce ? I mean, we all can try this at home, and I promise it will be way way better. No cilantro, no cheese. The brisket was full of chunks of fat. The Guac was what in Spanish we’d say guácala... very disappointing. I thought the food was going to be fresh, and it was: frozen chicken to the hot oil, buffalo sauce from the store on top of it to claim it buffalo..., tortillas (old and that store taste) from the store... my son realized that he ate the tacos after being so hungry, and realized that they weren’t all that, that he was indeed sold by his hungry friends as well. Very disappointed to say the least. Absolutely nothing tasted fresh. I hope that everyone who has not experienced fresh cooking before gets to do so. Only then you’ll realized that you too were sold lies.

So let's just say it's rare that I leave a bad review. I enjoy giving good ones. But this place has great food reviews, but when I say TERRIBLE customer service. Is an understatement. I came in no one spoke, I spoke the cashier spoke very dry as if he did not want to be bothered with me. It was terrible. If I did not have my mind set on tattoos I would have walked out. My tacos were thrown together and I was changed 7 for a cup of queso. I probably will not visit this place again.

I have mixed feelings about this spot! The lady wasn't the most pleasant at the register when inquiring about menu items. The gentleman who brought out My order once ready was actually kind and courteous! I ordered two tacos. I paid almost $6 dollars I believe. That price point is fair tbh but not for what I received. The eggs were dry and so were the tortillas. I ordered one egg and cheese & one egg, cheese and potato. There were eggshells in both tacos which was very disappointing. The potatoes were also very dry and bland. If You decide to dine in the establishment was clean from what the eye met but could definitely use a spring cleaning or makeover considering the area it shouldn't look like a hole in the wall near that area as I am familiar with how it looked inside when previous restaurants were there. Here nor there if the food is good! What I have had so far has been just ok or mediocre. I do believe that more effort may be put into the savory tacos more than the breakfast tacos too! The reason I gave 3 stars is bc the shrimp taco I DoorDashed recently was decent but nothing to brag about or have a desire to return.

Left a LOT to be desired, chicken tasted like it was cooked days ago. The flavors are there but everything tastes old, definitely not worth the price.

I've been meaning to eat here for the longest time and I'm happy I was able to stop by. I really wish Yelp allowed you to give half star ratings because my experience today was a solid 3.5. Customer service was good, folks were nice, professional and prompt! I only ordered two tacos for lunch: a crabby patty taco that appeared to be a special and a battered shrimp taco. Now off customer service and the crabby patty taco, this place is a solid 4 stars. The battered shrimp taco is what's taking a half a star away because it didn't do it for me. It wasn't as flavorful as the other taco and it happened to get soggy while I was eating the other one. You know what, I should have asked for sauces on the side because that could've made me like both tacos about the same. Hmmmm... I'll definitely return and get sauces on the side. I'm Also interested in trying the sweet potato fries because they seem to be popular!

Brisket taco was the best compared to the barbacoa and chimichurri . Btw they still have a burger available and pies from the legacy Sam's Burgers and Pies.
