Bob’s bagels are by far the best bagels that we have enjoyed for many years! Absolutely authentic and indescribably delicious!! Bob and his staff , Ever, provide a warm and welcoming ambiance that combines their peerless bagels and pastry to make a visit a wonderful memorable happy experience. Bagel Bob is a small, welcoming spot in Houston known for its exceptional bagels. The owner, Bob, makes the bagels fresh every day, providing a true New York bagel experience. Customers highly recommend the pizza bagel and bagel sandwiches, with the plain bagel with veggie cream cheese or lox & cream cheese being favorites. The bagels are large and flavorful, not skinny, and are considered far superior to other places in Houston. The ambiance is cozy and reminiscent of NY, with a peaceful and friendly environment where the staff is very nice and always smiling. Regulars visit 2 to 3 times a week and appreciate the warm atmosphere, especially the owner’s friendly interaction with customers. The spot also offers desserts like cheesecake and bread pudding. Although it gets busy from 10 AM to noon, visiting afterward ensures a quick and enjoyable experience. Overall, Bagel Bob is a hidden gem with incredible bagels and a caring staff.
