After driving by this place so many times, my husband and I decided to finally give it a try. We made a reservation for 7:15, arrived about 7:05 and were seated right away. The restaurant seemed to have recently been remodeled and it was very modern and chic on the inside. Our waitress was very sweet but was also very busy so the service wasn't the best, although she did apologize over and over again. We ordered the Bolognese was supposed to be a single order of a pizza (so personal sized) but the double order came out- no biggie, we had leftovers. They did serve bread and oil/vinegar as well as a hot sauce (which we thought was odd). The bread wasn't great, which to me, is important at an Italian restaurant. I ordered the white sangria and when it came out, it was a a caramel color, like they put way too much brandy in it. Took the first sip- yep, brandy all the way. Not what you want when you order a white sangria, but I was *that* girl who sent her drink back (sorry, but when you pay upwards of $9-$10, you want to enjoy it). The second one she brought was much better. We waited quite awhile for food, which was fine, it was Friday after all. It was worth the wait though because the Bolognese was amazing; rich sauce and perfectly al dente Spaghetti. The pizza was delicious as well. Also to note, the day we were there, the restaurant was actually switching to new management and it's now called Creed (literally drove by it the next day and the new sign was up). Seems like they may have been having an off day due to the changes so we'll have to check it out again. But I will say, up your bread game! It tasted like 2 day old french bread from HEB/Kroger and not what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant.

Great service, delicious gnocchi! Will have to come back to try everything else!

This place was nice. Sometimes excellent and sometimes just better than average, but we enjoyed it. I've heard they are closing, so that means more nights at our favorite place, George's Pastaria, on Dairy Ashford.

Excellent food and friendly staff. Highly recommended .They gave us options to customize meat based pasta into vegan choices. Desserts are too good.

Definitely my favorite Italian restaurant in Houston as of right now! The ambiance is nice, and the restaurant is not too large. Service was not particularly the best because they seemed to be understaffed on a busy night, but they were definitely trying. I ordered the Squid Ink lobster pasta dish, and it was well worth $35! There was a full lobster and the pasta sauce was very flavorful and fresh. The lobster was also very fresh, as if it was caught this morning. Very nice for a date night or simple family outings.

Great attentive service. The pizza is so delicious, perfect crisp crust and bottom... and don't forget to get the redpepper oil to dip the crust. Fettucini Alfredo isn't on the adult menu but you can ask for it and it is so good. This is coming from Alfredo fanatics. Gnocchi is also very delicate and flavorful.

Tried for the first time best on reviews. Nice atmosphere with attentive waiter who got my kids food out before the other entrees. The Menu could of been written a little better to make it easier to understand. Also some of the prices on their online menu were different then in the restaurants. Salad came Out fast and was huge for a side salad. All of our entrees were amazing. Everyone said they like my short rib risotto the best. I highly recommend you try this place out if you haven't. I will knock it one star because our three year old sons kids menu was 14.95. That's a little steep for a kids menu I thought. Also the dessert was a little over priced for the portion we received. Wood try again but not get dessert or anything off kids menu.

So, I was looking for a gathering place for 10 family and friends (college kids & parents); great food and great atmosphere were my top priorities! We sat outside at a lovely table large enough for all to converse! From the calzone to the seafood dishes we had, the food was fabulous! No one had food left on their plate! The service was perfect. There is a lovely water feature outside that makes you forget that you are on Westheimer! It's located next door to Cafe Caspian and directly across the street from Cane's chicken. Great night and can't wait to go back!

Its hard to find truly authentic Italian food, but with a new Chef and updated menu this is exactly what we got! Home made pasta cooked perfectly and chef prepared sauces. Pizza was great too. Will be back!!

I enjoyed myself, had the ravioli and a ceasar salad. If you like spicy...make sure to try the oil they give you with your bread....it's outstanding. Service was great and I'll definitely be back soon.
