I ordered the squid ink fried rice, Sichuan tilapia, crispy tofu, and dry flat noodle stir fry with beef. Everything tasted fine, but my least favorite was the tilapia. The crispy tofu was the highlight for me with its great texture and flavor. The portions for the fried rice and dry flat noodles felt a bit small, but overall it was a nice meal with a good variety of dishes to try.
Mein has been consistently good for the years we have been coming here. The salted fish fried rice is good, the herb salmon is delicious, and my mom (a HK native) says their HK wonton noodle soup is the best in the Houston area. The food there is pretty good, good portion and good flavors. The waiters are polite, and you might often see the restaurant owner help out there as well. I have been coming to this place for several years. The food there just never fails me. The only down side is this place is loud, with the background music going and many people taking the same time, it’s just hard to hear if you want a place to talk. This is a place you should just focus on eating the delicious food .
