I hate leaving this 2 star review but seriously the coffee I had ruined my afternoon. The lovely young ladies at the register and behind the counter were nice and suggested things, I ended up with a cold brew with a splash of cream, it was ready in less than 5 seconds. The color of my cold brew was off, it looked like watered down tea, but what takes the cake was the taste. It was horrible! I mean HORRIBLE! It was sour and super acidic and I could not take another sip without gagging. I did not want to be that person that goes up and says "I don't like this"... I threw half of it in the trash and filled my cup with water and pretended to sip my coffee just to have something to do. That was $5. literally thrown in the trashcan (could have bought a dozen eggs with that). Atmosphere is more like a study room but the patio was pleasant enough only because the weather was nice. It's always nice to sit out with a car grill in your face and car fumes in the air.

Great place to enjoy a hot blueberry muffin and a hand crafted latte from their friendly baristas. I visit here on some Sundays where I join the big group of Sunday Sketchers.

Average. Maybe below average coffee. And it’s a bit overpriced. The quality of coffee is ok. Slightly above average. Coffee has boring flavors. Their two special coffees are Mayan and honey flavored. Not a great place to work or study. Seats are not comfortable. The music suddenly gets low then frustratingly loud. Service is ok. Space is kinda crammed.Dietary restrictions: Different milk options for additional fee.Parking: Parking in the front.

Great place to work out of. Fast internet, outdoor and indoor sitting and quiet enough to have meetings. Food there is just warmed up pastries and they do have good coffee.

Kid-friendliness: One time I went in, there was a baby walking around....made some noise. No one really seemed to mind, which I really liked. The baby wasn't bothering anyone, was just being a kid. They also allow dogs, and have dog treats to give to the dogs. I thought that was pretty cool! DO NOT bring outside food IN. By the time I was about to be finished with my food, I found out that's fround upon. The drinks are a decent price, still a little on the high end. Desserts too. Also, I'm cheap.........so do with that what you will. ?

"Merchantile" feels like a little Art gallery located close to the Menill Collection. The coffee bar wall decoration is very unique using bamboo trees, and there's an antique piano by the window, a swing from the ceiling! Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staffs, and good vibe.
