I ate here a few weeks ago and this was my first time of MANY times eating here that someone was rude to me. BLATANTLY RUDE. There were two people working the counter and i ordered with one while the other was cooking. Before I ordered, my friend ordered with one person who began making her food while i ordered with the other. We ate somewhere out of sight of this restaurant. I didnt finish my bowl so i went up to the counter to ask for a to go box and the other worker who did NOT take my order seemed terribly upset and offended that i was asking for a to go bowl. I told him i had ordered a bowl and with several shoulder shrugs and aggressive hand movements he reached for a to go box and placed it down on the counter , making sure to not make eye contact while he resumed working on the computer. He wanted me to know that he didn’t want to give me that to go bowl. LOVEd (past tense) the food here. Will never patronize again and am making sure to tell everyone i work with. I wont name the company i work for but i get a discount at this place because its right across the street. Anyone want to issue an apology and make this right, I welcome it. Til then, you have lost a customer and I will encourage my coworkers to steer clear so as to avoid being treated the way I was.

The carne asada tacos and the burrito for it too are both amazing. No negatives. The flavor is fantastic. The meat is tender and juicy. The tortilla is great on the taco. I prefer the taco but the burrito was amazing too. Can’t go wrong with either. The salsa verde is velvety and spicy. The red is Smokey and full of flavor. Rice is fluffy. Beans well seasoned. 10/10 tacos if you don’t mind the price.

Really, really good carne asada tacos, made to order. Comes with guac, pico, cotija cheese, and salsas. A bit low traffic during dinner, but don't let that fool you!

This place was absolutely AMAZING! Enrique and Mario gave top tier service! The large shrimp Bowl was absolutely awesome. I think this is the best place I've eaten in 2025. Highly recommended!

I was disappointed with the small amount of meat in the bowl. It was all salad and was presented deceptively to look like there was a large amount of meat. For just over 20 dollars it wasn't worth the price.

Would be 5 stars but the prices are way too expensive for Mexican food. Even if freshly sourced, I can't justify charging $16.00 for a burrito. It's a big burrito but after taxes it's a 20 dollar burrito and condiments are 2 to 4 dollars a piece. The food is great but it seems like they base they're pricing off of their New York location. This is Texas. Texans don't pay 15 dollars for tacos. Your food is great, but maybe cut your prices a dollar or two.

I love Mexicology inside the Lyric Market! The vegan options are wonderful - my favourite is the quesadilla. The prickly pear lemonade is also delicious. Perfect for a pre-theatre meal as it is right in the heart of the theatre district. Fast service with indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff are always friendly & the food service is fast! Nice restrooms inside the market too. Great to go with family as there are several vendors there. Often have live music. Highly recommend!!!!

I am vegan and I loved that they had vegan options :) I love how thier space is set up to it’s so colorful and inviting! I was met with great service they were very kind. But the most important part my quesadilla tasted amazing. It made me dance a little bit… a happy food dance lol I highly recommend. Im pretty sure everything on the menu taste good!
