This has the potential to be the BEST food hall in Downtown Houston because of the beauty and decor inside. It is elegant, modern, and spacious. However what is holding back this food hall besides lack of marketing is the fact that none of the restaurants besides Bar/Sushi spot are memorable. When you first walk into the lyric markets, it really has an upmarket casual vibe, especially if entering from the Smith entrance. The bright, classy Rhapsody Bar bar in the middle gives the whole place a fun vibe.One very nice touch is the self-serv artisanal tap water at each service area.There are 9 food stools in total. We had the Mama’s Barbecue: 2 meat 2 sides platter and the pork rib sandwich. The ribs were the best I’ve had!! Delicious, tender, juicy and the seasoning was spot on right! The baked beans were also really delicious taste homemade with generous pieces of pork meat. The attention was great too, pleasant everyone was happy to see and serve us! Highly recommend it!
