The food was great - huge portions, fresh, very tasty, and affordable. We had the flautas and mixed enchiladas. The chicken tasted great, but the beef was the star of the show! The owner let us try all the flavors of fruit juices and introduced us to a few off menu combinations (hibiscus + lime and rice + strawberry/banana). My Gf and I stumbled upon this hidden gem and were so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the owner's welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home.

But what really stole the show was the incredible food and drinks. We started with the Agua Frescas, which were hands-down the best I've ever had. The flavors were vibrant and refreshing, and the perfect complement to the spicy dishes that followed.

The agua fresca of mixed fruit was delicious. You can taste the apple, strawberries and bananas used in the drink and was perfect for an unexpected weather change typical of Houston.
