Food was okay. Not great, not terrible. We came to celebrate our anniversary, yet the waitress never mentioned our anniversary and at the end of service finally put down a “Happy Anniversary” table card and said she forgot. She never offered the complimentary anniversary dessert like they usually do. I had to ask her. When my husband made reservations, he specifically asked for a table that could accommodate a stroller for our 9 month old. However, we were told upon arrival we couldn’t take the stroller in the dining area and that she would have to use a high chair. My daughter never used a high chair prior to this and likes being in her stroller. A phone call and heads up before our reservation date would have been the appropriate thing to do. Why ask for accommodations/special occasions, when it gets overlooked and isn’t accommodated anyway? There are better fine dining options in Houston. Wouldn’t recommend.

We celebrated my son's 1st place ranking for TMEA & appreciated the acknowledgment on the table & the group photo they presented him! Our servers provided good suggestions on wine & food. My husband's Cajun ribeye came out medium but they quickly redid it & his medium rare steak was much more tender. Will come back another time to try out their HH.
The restaurant is known for their hash browns! They took them off the menu. So if you want them you have to call and request. But you can order every other potato they have and you can get it. Does not make sense. Also, the wait staff only mentions the chocolate lava cake and no other desserts.
Great evening at one of our favorites. Service and food the best. Thank you Patrick for all you do!!
We celebrated My Husband's Birthday. We just moved to Houston and chose this place because of good reviews and Morton is our last name!!! The food was unbelievable and the staff was fantastic!!! They made my husband's birthday a truly wonderful experience. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
I hosted a HH social in the bar area. Victoria took really good care of us. Olivia the hostess was also very personable. The drinks & light bites were great
Enjoyed a margarita, champagne, burger bites, fries... last but not least, dessert... peanut butter banana bread pudding... delicious 😋

We ordered the Wagyu cut that was advertised- it was tough and not nearly as flavorful as other wagyu that I've had. Makes me wonder if it was really wagyu. The service was very good, but unfortunately the steak was lacking, especially when you consider that it was a promotion for the Wagyu. Costco steaks at home have been significantly more flavorful than the overpriced special cut they offered that evening. Very disappointing and will likely go elsewhere when we want to go out for a good steak. Probably Pappas Bros since they're consistently spot on.

We went for the Bubbles and Bites promotion - it was available in the bar only. We had a reservation as required and were seated about 10-minutes after our reservation. We ordered a cocktail to start. The service started off slow and only got worse as the evening progressed. The concept of the promotion was fun but the overall experience was a let down.
No sitting and food wasn't good.

Celebrated 60th Birthday of several close friends. I had a delicious Side Car while waiting for my party to arrive. We were seated and pleasantly surprised to have 2 servers. The food was delicious with generous portions. I had the Salmon with carrots and broccolini which was perfect cooked. The service was a little slow but it was Saturday dinner time so understandable. Ended the night with dessert, creme brulee before heading home. No complaints. I will definitely be back.

Food was good. They seemed short staffed. Bar area was crowded for event, my preference is bar table
Terrible service, the waiter was extremely rude and his service was terrible. We waited 15+ minutes for the table, then 15+ minutes to get our order taken and when we ordered the waiter was extremely rude regarding our food choices. Definitely never coming back and do nos recommend.
Took almost an hour to be seated past our reservation time. Sat at the table for another 30 minutes waiting to place any sort of food order before deciding to give up and leave.
I’ve had far better dining experiences for significantly less money. I made a reservation for 7:30 PM, yet we weren’t seated until 8:17 PM, which already set the tone for the evening.
Once we were finally seated and placed our order, I noticed multiple tables that arrived after us receiving their food while we were still waiting. There were only two of us. When I asked our server, he informed us that our order had been moved to the back. I continued to wait patiently for another 30 minutes, but nothing arrived. When I asked again, he apologized and explained that our order had been skipped altogether.
By the time the food arrived, the experience had already been disappointing—and unfortunately, the food itself did not make up for it. The steak was underwhelming and certainly not worth the price. I’ve had much better steaks at more reasonable establishments. This place is not worth the time or the money. I will not be returning.
