We needed to ask for fresher bread. Service was good. My drink was good it was peach something. But it took awhile for them to make it and bring it for some reason. I had wild caught red snapper with lump crab in a lemon butter sauce. It was good. I like that snapper is a light fish without too much of the fishy flavor. Also had creme brulee and key lime pie take home. They were both good.
Pappadeaux used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I do feel the service and food quality have slipped a bit while prices have gone up tremendously but still is a very great restaurant and experience. We were in a large party so that could be why the service was a little lacking. Overall it was a great time with family and very thankful that our large party could be accommodated.

It had been a long day. On this visit I ordered the stuffed shrimp with fries. When it came out I was very disappointed. I could see the bottom of the box when I opened it. The portion of sides was sad and disappointing. Granted I only paid $15. I expected to revive more fries. Damn, they don’t cost that much to the restaurant. As far as the taste. The stuff shrimp were good. Fries decent. I got what I got for $15. Next time...
