This is most favorite location to go in Houston. The food is great. I always go through the drive thru, service can be top tier or with an attitude depending on the person's mood at the window 🪟. You have to get there early on the weekends bc they run out of wings and ribs.
Good little spot. I had a salad, brisket and pork ribs. The salad was good. The brisket was good. The pork ribs were a bit tough and chewy for my liking could have just been the batch as they were waiting for more to become ready. However they had a unique flavor a sweet cracked pepper very unique. I am visiting and decided to stop by since it's walking distance from the hotel. The restaurant was very clean. Pappas BBQ Downtown truly needs extra staff for the breakfast rush in the drive-thru.
Vehicles are coming from both directions. Line is too long. Vehicles skipping other vehicles that's been waiting on the street in line. People are rushing to work. It's just ridiculous! Open the inside for customers to order too!! Just need more staff.
