This place went DOWN HILL! I been coming here since I was a little girl, it sucks for me to give it a 1 star but hopefully the owner (the old lady that thinks she’s cute) will get into sense that changing ingredients to her bánh mì and other bakery will make her loose customers. Yes I understand inflation is a big deal, I RATHER PAY THE PRICE to eat good. I was short 20cent one day and she made me go to my car and get the 20cent. I been coming here since the early 00s and product went down hill.

They lied about what was inside the wraps. No meat at all. I didn't find out until I got home. Also, super cold and gross/old tasting food.

The website says it is open. I am here, it is 8:15. The sign in the door says it opens at 8:00. Yet it is still dark on the inside and the doors are locked. I saw a woman stocking pastry shelves inside, but she wouldn’t come open the door. I’ve had the sandwich’s here previously and would like to have another but that’s not possible when they won’t open at the stated time.

Bought the Banh quai vat. It's old and cold, I m not talking about room temperature. It's straight out if the fridge. Probably leftover from the day before. They didn't even bother to heat it up before selling. Very disappointed.

I also stopped buying anything that's not in a box or in a case. Flies are all over the foods.

This is the one next to Viet Hoa Supermarket.

I've been coming here for a long time, and just got home with 2 fried egg rolls and a banh mi thit nuong sandwich (extra wonderful pate added!) in tow. Don't know why I haven't posted a review before now, but here it is. First off, the food I have gotten here has always been fresh and delicious, from the fried egg rolls and banh mi to the fried yucca and pate chaud! The char-grilled pork is my favorite meat for a banh mi, but the chicken is pretty awesome as well. The woman who owns/runs the place is so friendly, always asks how I, and my husband, are doing, and we enjoy talking about food. She even inspired me to try my hand at making the pork for homemade banh mi (albeit with her amazing pate, mayo, and bread) and was impressed by my pics. Of course, my pork wasn't as out of this world as hers but her condiments made it a worthwhile effort! $7.00 for the sandwich and egg rolls is more than fair, the sandwich is always packed full of yum!! Try this place out for sure because you won't disappointed! It is cash only, so keep that in mind. It is so good that I've been known to cross Beechnut just to get cash back on a small purchase at H.E.B so I can cross back for those goodies!!

We were a big fan of the doissant and went almost every weekend. However, the last time my boyfriend went to the store, a lady dropped a whole tray of croissants. She picked them off the floor and put them up to sell with no shame! Walked out and never came back.

The croissant sandwiches, egg rolls, vietnamese iced coffee, and thai tea were incredibly delicious! This is one of my favorite places for Vietnamese sandwiches.
