“Amazing food! The kebabs were juicy and flavorful, the rice was perfectly cooked with saffron and cranberries, and the hummus was smooth and delicious. The eggplant dip was rich and authentic with great toppings. Definitely one of the best Persian meals I’ve had — highly recommend!“

“Where do I begin... well, in the mid 90's I lived in Houston and loved it! I happened upon Garson restaurant and was amazed by the atmosphere, and the cuisine is unbelievably delicious. It was (and still is) one of my top restaurants in Houston! The service is spot on with just the right amount of attention and always cordial and polite. The feta, basil, and bread are delectable. EVERYTHING I have ever ordered, I have LOVED. I return to Houston once or twice a year, and I have always dined at Garson, and I always will. Well done, Garson restaurant! You have won this Dallas guy as a lifetime customer! Update: December 2023 Every chance I get, I visit my favorite restaurant people, food and atmosphere. I love the snapper and the appetizers of basil, feta, and the most wonderful bread. The pistachio ice cream and Turkish coffee is the bow on the package! Thank you, Garson restaurant! Until I see you again... cheers! --------- Update Nov 2024 Just visited my all-time favorite restaurant in Houston that I visit every time I make my way from Dallas... and oh, how it's worth it! Our wait staff was on point, and the food was as scrumptious as I was anticipating the whole day. Always a pleasure! ____________________________________________ Update: August 2025 - Just visited Houston and ate ate my favorite... Garson! GREAT to see Obidio and experience the world class chef whose been at Garson for over 30 years... NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING!!!“

“I tried New Saffron Kabob House with a recommendation from a friend. I ordered their chapli kabob. I instantly loved it. I am safe to say that it’s one of the best Afghan food in Houston! It is located in the Guatemalan town of Hillcraft. Do check it out if you want to try one of the most underrated cuisines. “afghan cuisine”“

“I walked in to the restaurant and was welcomed by the friendly staff. It was an afternoon and less busy weekday. The place is clean and well maintained. The naan and a plate with lime, butter and cheese I believe was complimentary.
I ordered the Special combo meal. It was beef fillet and juicy chicken fillet, that’s marinated and grilled. Additional to that, I ordered tea because who doesn’t like tea with their meal. Great combination and I do recommend. I also ordered the Bijan Special in the menu to go as well.
They do have parking lot, coming in and leaving was not a hassle since it was not busy.
