I can't believe I still haven't wrote a review for Pho Sapa yet. This place is amazing, every time I was there, it is satisfying. The restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, their english is not very good but trying very hard to help you with your questions about food knowledge. My favorite dish is the big beef bone, I think it is a side dish which is about $5, it came in a huge bowl full of big big beef bones. The bones are flavorful, has good amount of meat on it and easy to peel off. I can never finish it and always bring it back to my dog. And my dog loves it too. Their signature item was the dry pho with soup on the side, it came with the special sauce to mix with the dry noodle, side veggies to make the dish more fulfilling.Pho is always great, their soup is clear, definitely brewed a long time not so much MSG taste in it because I don't have to drink so much water afterwards.Price is fair, very good place to have a nice inexpensive lunch or light dinner. Might have to go there early since they do run out of soup.Highly recommended.

Restaurant: Pho Sapa (Houston, TX)World class bowl of Pho. The reviews and hype are real. This bowl of Pho is definitely a top 5 Pho in America and the best Northern inspired Pho I’ve ever had. When the server set the bowl down, I knew I was in for a treat. The looks of the broth's richness and quality cuts of meats lived up to how it tasted very rich, beefy, savory, perfectly balanced, and mind blowing from the first sip of the broth to the last. There wasn’t much for the aromatic smell but that did not matter. I love how the restaurant is mainly focused on Pho. The environment was perfect for eating noodles. The restaurant felt like it was modernized for made for eating noodles. Customer service was amazing for how many people being served. There was a wait list and we had to wait 15 minutes. You know a place is great when there is a waiting list.Would I eat here again? Yes! This is a must go to Pho spot if you're in Houston. Best Pho in TX! I love this place can't wait to come back!!!SummaryPho ScorePrice (5): 5Bowl size (5): 4Presentation (5): 5Herbs (5): 4.5Noodles (5): 4.5MeatQuality (5): 5Portion (5): 5Bonus meats (5): 5Broth qualityClearness (5): 5Spices (5): 3.5Depth (5): 5Balance (20): 19.25Richness (20): 19.25MSG aftertaste (-3): -2Secret special factor (5): 5Total score (100 points max): 93Kid-friendliness: good place for kids to come and eat.

Broth is not good, and the noodles are too tough/rough. Kinda expensive if the broth is not good too. Was kinda disappointed as I was recommended this pho restaurant.

Me and my friend dined in on a non busy time Saturday. We both got Pho. The food was good, outstanding, no complaints. But their service needs improvement. They messed up my order twice. I ordered a combination Pho. At first , they brought out the wrong order, which the food runner noticed and went into the kitchen to change it. But they still messed up my order , it's not a combination Pho. I then told the waiter, and they brought out a small bowl with only 1 piece of tendon, and 1 piece of meat ball. This was an unpleasant experience for me. The staff are unmotivated making the dining experience unenjoyable.

Found another Gem of a place. Knew we wouldn’t be disappointed when the place is packed after the lunch hour. 2pm and they were still near full.Little to no wait, even when full. They clean and sit you down with a quickness! When you order there was some difficulty due to a language barrier, but if all else fails. Point at the items on the menu and got it situated. ;)We ordered and got our food in SECONDS! I was like what just happened? Did they know we were coming. Now the only bad thing: Order two of your drinks from the start. Because they never came back around. Couldn’t get a refill on water, order more, nothing. But other than that, the taste was awesome! Fresh, flavorful broth, meat was tender & delicious. It’s now on my list as a top Pho spot in Houston. They only have two locations sadly, both of which are on the west side of town. So if you’re in the area, you know where to go.Price right: 12 bucks for a large bowl, serving size is plentiful. Plenty of meat in the bowl.Took pictures of their current menu items and current price points. If you enjoy a great bowl of Pho, try Pho Sapa! You won’t be disappointed.Until next time.Parking: Parking lot seems to be full often. Just have to wait to find one near where your destination is.

This was a solid phở place! I didn't have high expectation before I came here but only knew that there were good opinions about it.I went for the Phở Đặc Biệt which I usually get at any vietnamese restaurant that serves phở. I was impressed that there were 2 rice noodle options: small or big. It being my first time here, I went for the small style. I also got a bowl of bone marrow on the side. Be warned, this is meat butter. If you are having health issues, please be cautious while ingesting this dish. The broth was pretty decent and had a good flavor to it. There was a good portion of meat ratio to noodles so no complaints there and the vegetables were fresh. For the bean sprouts, you could get it as steamed or not.I came here in the afternoon on a weekend but there was no wait and I was seated down right away.

I’ve been going to this place for years. They have the best pho in Houston. Their old location was always packed, I’m glad they moved to a new, bigger, place.

Bad news: Phở Sapa is not what it used to be. I have eaten there twice recently, each time about a few weeks apart, and the second, I think last, by the way, was yesterday. Both are equally bad. The first time I think it went bad, I was so surprised by the fact I couldn't believe that bad: everything was the same except the soup. It was not tasty. Bland. So unbearably light, though not terrible yet. That might sound like the end of the world to me as such good pho like Sapa before is hard to find. It was not as good as several previous times I had enjoyed there. No more. What happened to them? That's why yesterday, I came back for another try. And the result was the same as said. The sameness of that "unbearable lightness" that came from the soup as mentioned. In the past, when Sapa was not here yet, I was used to going to Phở Điện nearby, the one that I thought was the best. Upon opening, it immediately usurped Pho Điện and competed for the throne. And they won easily, I think, as once you already tried Sapa, you won't want to go back to Phở Điện no more. But that was le passé, not now. Then even now, when I've found out it's getting bad, I still don't want to return to Phở Điện. That's because of how "supreme" and unique Sapa once was, and what made Sapa so become in the beginning stage of their business but not so anymore indirectly taught me not to compromise on anything of lesser quality. It served me with a bowl of delicious pho that tasted so good that nothing in it had been left behind after every meal. What an incomparable taste! Now I know I will miss it. Something precious is gone. A "cultural loss," maybe.
