Came in with my family at around closing time. I ordered the Cabo Especial, and everything about that dish stood out to me. With some lime, the gumbo was amazing, and the fried seafood was SPECTACULAR. So hot and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries were the same. Hot n crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I've eaten a lot of fried seafood in Houston, and this was the first time it was good enough for me to want to write a review. 👍👍 Amazing...
I went for lunch on a weekday. I was able to sit down immediately and got my food within 10 minutes. I got the fried fish tacos, and they tasted great. Fish was crispy and seasoned well, and the side of rice had a nice flavor. Will be coming back to this place to try some more of their seafood.
Food and service are good most of the times I've been there, however, I was very disappointed to discover that you get charged an extra 4% fee for paying with credit card. It's 2025 - most people aren't walking around with cash in their pockets. Not a fan of this at all. This should definitely be removed.
