Food has good flavor. However, our server did not check on us until she saw the owner check on us. She also didn’t seem too friendly or helpful. We got our drinks (water) after we got our food. The owner however was very kind!
The place is very clean.

The food is very good—if you go early, it is excellent and fresh. In the afternoon and evening, it changes a bit, but overall it still tastes good. However, I am rating it 1 star because the service is *extremely* poor; the waitresses are aggressive and clearly serve grudgingly. They get angry if you ask them anything, and if they make a mistake, they actually take the food right off your plate and toss it down in front of you. In short: good food, but absolutely terrible service from the waitstaff

The decor provided a home feeling to the restaurant, while also having delicious food&drinks
They’re also celebrating a 2 year anniversary there with live music and more! 9/20/25
I recommended: Mondongo, empanadas de pollo y puerco, jugo de maracuya, y buñuelos colombianos

I remembered when the restaurant opened it was decent. I would have to drive far for a good Colombian food. The experience today was terrible, the meat empanada had no flavor and the filling was ok but just stew meat….not a typical Colombian empanada. Waiting to get the menu …..nope the girls were busy behind the register chatting. Honestly not the worst service, I have seen worse. I asked for the bandeja paisa with grill flank steak….. only the chorizo and avocado had flavor. Presentation was ok. Everything else just plain with lack of flavor. I couldn’t eat that plate. . I’ve asked why the stew meat? She said it was grilled….not a single grill mark….no need to lie, just saying.

Authentic Colombian food with good-size servings and great potential for this area. Lots of variety on food, juices, popsicles, and they even had a snack/mekato display with multiple options. The place was understaffed during our visit and service could have been better.

I ordered the Mojarra Frita with coconut rice, tostones, and salad through DoorDash and let me tell you, this meal took me back to my trip to Palenque, Colombia! This is exactly what was served on my tour there, down to the crispy plantains and citrusy slaw. The fish was fried to perfection, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor, while the coconut rice had that authentic creamy, slightly sweet edge that’s so hard to find out here.
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. This is hands-down the most authentic Caribbean food I’ve had in Houston—and I’ve tried a lot. Q’hubo Pues is the real deal if you’re craving a bite of Colombia in Houston. 🇨🇴🔥

Very sad, specially since is one of the few Colombian Restaurants around this area, such a bad attitude from the waitress, food was good, but the customer service ruined it all. Lady with that attended us was very unprofessional did not care about us at all we asked for a piece of butter said she would ask and see if she could get us some and never appeared again to give a response about it she clearly is only there to pick up a paycheck because customer service she knows nothing about, all she cared and did was to be gossiping with another customer that seems to be a regular and the other waitress that was there with her not satisfied at all with the service rendered or the attention given, I had to get up to the front to offer to pay since we had been asking for check and we got ignored, mind you we were the only table on a Sunday morning 10am, they got another table while we were eating, but gossip was more important.

I really enjoyed the ropa vieja I had, my husband ordered the mojara frita. Their coconut rice is so good as well as their coconut lemonade. We also ordered the empanadas one chicken one beef & the dedos de queso. Over all we enjoyed our food, the service and the atmosphere, will be back.
