Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

My 2nd time here. Got the brisket and beans again. The brisket was too peppery, too salty, and too dry—which made for some very delicious jerky. But I came for BBQ. 😂

I'll give them another try and order the Moist next time.

Local stopped byfor brisket, sausage, ribs, and a few sides all delicious.

BBQ rib's are okay need's more meat on them for that kinda price.

It's ok. It's fairly consistent and by no means bad, but it's ultimately just ok. Probably best for large group pickup. Honestly, though, not a great value.

I am a NEW CUSTOMER. I was visiting the NW Freeway yesterday 7/4/26 and my first and last time. I was sooo very very disappointed in the baked potato with chopped beef. The meat was in “cubes”. TOUGH & TASTELESS!! I was hungry so i did not return the potato but I do have my receipt showing the purchase of 2 very disappointing baked potatoes. I would like a response from management please.

Probably the most disgusting BBQ I ever had in Texas. Chopped Beef was 60% gristle and spongy. Had to chew forever to break it down.

What gives Rudy? Your crew can spot overly grisly
Meat better than anyone but yet they weigh it out by the tea spoon and serve it at a premium price.

Time to consider turning this spot into a fuel and snack shop.

1.1st and absolutely the last visit...
2. Post prices don't match the receipt prices...which are double on the receipt.
3. According to cashier the price posted you get 3 ribs for avg $9.00 😞...
$3 per more bone than meat 🍖...
4. Yes, I agree to these prices 🥵..
5. Sides are super small per serving for a ridiculous $3.
6. Overall ribs are child size 😞.
7. 2 beers 🍻 $9...I could have gotten a six pack and 2 beers a the store.
8. $41.90 for 2 meals.
Price poor, for the quality and quantity of food...
9. I will never returned and will not recommend Rudy's.
10. Pappas has the same meal with adult size ribs with 2 sides @ 2 dinners at $22.00.
11. Rudy's is a NO.
12. Customer aka Cashier service great. Tip given.

Nothing special. Tries to feel like an ice house. Pleasant people.

I have never been there before. Today. Was my first time I stopped by 2 get gas. I just walked in not expecting anything they have really good barbecue. It's like a little mini Bucky's in town that I don't have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to Very clean eating area.The staff was very helpful and nice
