The food and service were absolutely on point! Everyone in our party raved over their meals. The brussel sprouts appetizer and the hummus were both wonderful starters to a fabulously delish meal.

You can skip this place. The food was bland and cold. The service was slow, especially for a Tuesday night. Overpriced and unimpressive. Many better options in the area.

It's like someone tripped over the salt and it all fell into my lobster ravioli. Food poisoning by excessive sodium chloride!!! Stay away, if your doctor could measure how much salt is poured into your food, he/she would recommend you stay away too. Whoever has the shaky hands in the kitchen should be moved to other duties...not fair at all considering the $$$ paid to enjoy a simple meal turned salty!!!

I'm generally a tough reviewer and don't give out full marks, so getting nearly full marks is a very good score from me. I wish the table I had let me get my feet under it (a large, round pedestal kept me from doing that). I loved the live music. A little cool (temp) for my taste, I felt a little chilly even while keeping my sport coat on. Very tasty entrees!

I'm pleasantly surprised! The service and staff are great, the food is super! The mixed bites/ appetizer had falafel and the taste and texture are on point! The lamb shank very nice has more of an Indo-pakistani flavor. We also had the rack of lamb one of the best I had in houston so far, bravo!I sure will come again, and I do recommend to try Safina

It was Beyoncé weekend in Houston and we were in the numbers! We were staying at the Intercontinental. The restaurant is in the hotel.Location: it was nice and easy for because it was just a few floors downParking: unsure - we were guests at the hotelService: we made reservations for 5 pm, they opened at 5 pm. We did not wait and the service was good but I notice at high end restaurants the wait between drinks and the courses are extended. Otherwise Our server was phenomenal.Ambience/Crowd: mixed, not a lot of ppl in there due to it being early.Food/drink : 6/10 our food was pretty good, my favorite was the calamari. My friends had the chefs choice for that day. I had the lobster ravioli, it was different but just as delicious. Will I be back? I would go back it just wouldn’t be my first choice

I had the grilled salmon and a Hong Kong Mule. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the drink was great. The staff was very friendly. I will come back again.

Never even answered the phone to answer questions about their menu or take an order. We stayed next door but were not able to get anyone at the restaurant on several attempts.

First time giving a restaurant 1 star... Incredibly slow service, zero training, bone-dry lamb shank, and weird menu (Mediterranean? or Italian?) Hope they improve on their service and food, since it actually is a beautiful space.

This is a fancy little restaurant in the Intercontinental hotel. The area is tastefully decorated and booth seating is comfortable. The food and drinks look appetizing and tasted delightful. The Pisco Punch cocktail is absolutely unique, with pomegranates in it! Just wow. Very strong too.Mediterranean platter is a great assortment of snacks including samosa, cheese artichoke balls and falafel. The vegetarian ratatouille is delicious. All the servers were nice and greeted guests with a smile. Definitely a great option for dining when staying at the IHG hotel.

Very friendly when I asked for directions to a restaurant the gentleman said we have a menu and I could eat there. After that everything went South. Ordered many quite expensive dishes to go, which if I hadn't looked in the bag before I left one main dish and the drink were left out. When brought to the waitress attention, she didn't even seem to be concerned of the inconvenience. Not to mention a $13.00 salad shouldn't include pieces of rotten lettuce !!!!!! ?Last but definitely not least, when arriving home there was a chicken picatta in the bag which I DID NOT order & was charged $22.00 ?

Clean. Great food one night- chicken piccata. 2 days later for lunch, no capers, no sauce, waitress never returned. Other guest ordered club sandwich. Tomatoes not yet ripe and thick sliced, so not chewable. Fries were good. Thick garlic aoeoli. Had to find the hostess to pay and leave. Never filled up our water. Hotel food. Good hotel, good bar. Worth eating there on a rainy day.

Had dinner here while on a work trip. Nice ambiance. Delicious scallop dinner, but even better, the Safina salad with lots of blue cheese & tasty salad dressing. The servers were very friendly.
