Concern Regarding Recent Order – Southwest Salad
Dear Salata Customer Service Team,
I am writing to express my concern regarding an order I placed on December 16, 2024. I ordered a Southwest Salad through your website, and based on the photo provided, I expected the salad to include the ingredients shown.
However, when the order was delivered, the salad consisted primarily of lettuce with only minimal amounts of corn and cheese. It did not resemble the image on your website and was far from what I anticipated. Additionally, I noticed that several fees were added to the order, totaling approximately $7–$8, which made the overall cost significantly higher than expected.
I feel disappointed because the product did not meet the advertised standard, and the extra charges were not clearly explained. I would appreciate clarification on the fees and why the salad was not prepared as shown.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and hope this issue can be resolved promptly.
Sincerely,
Donna F this order was delivered to UH on Elgin St yesterday @ 12:27

The service at this location sucks. I have had so many issues with them not making my order correctly or forgetting items. Today they didn't give me any silverware when asked for

Love the food & the overtake helpfulness; however, I do have a complaint. My 1st time at this Salata. It's in the Houston tunnels. Ordered 2large salads, a soup and a cookie, to go. I got back to work to enjoy my slightly upscale meal. The soup was missing. I called and reviewed my situation but was dissatisfied with the result. I recounted that I was asked if I wanted a soup. I said yes, tomato. I was asked will that be a cup or a bowl. I said a bowl. I was asked if I preferred bread or pita chips. I choose pita. I had to move to the side while another customer paid
I got my order, paid with points & card. I asked is my soup in there? I was told yes. I left happy & satisfied. When I called back no one remembered any of the interactions. My soup was not on the receipt. I could go all the way back, pay, & be done, but it was an inconvenience. Iwas willing to return if it would be free, but not go back & start over. It was not all my fault. They did not take accountability for dropping the ball. There would be no time left to eat & if have to go back and forth again for something that should have been done the 1st time. Not pleased or satisfied, but lesson learned. Even when it seems all should be ok, check the order & receipt before leaving.

Owner falsified accusations before reviewing the video - a guy I know bought me 3$ in food and I was going to give him the 3$ but he said keep it . The owner falsy began to accuse me of lying to the customer that he did not take cash . I told the owner to watch the video next time before making False accusations against anyone

Good salad for food court. I thought $2 for half an avocado was a pricey steep but oh well.

First, I love Salata. I came here for lunch because the one I normally go to (in the Pennzoil building) was closed. This location is about a 10 minutes away from my job and it was definitely worth the walk! Will be back!

It's Salata, so you know what you're getting. However, they like to pack your salads very light here. I told one of the servers that I want another scoop to some of the veggies, and then she told me that if it gets too heavy she'll charge me. However, once everything was done, there was a huge pocket of air in my salad container. She didn't fill her scoops when making my salad, and when making my salad she was speaking spanish to her coworkers, making snarky comments about how, "Look at this guy, he likes a lot of olive oil".Meanwhile, she stops looking at me completely, talks to her coworker, while pouring olive oil into the salad, and completely ignoring me while I'm telling her to stop pouring the olive oil. I'm never coming here again. If you want a tastier salad, go to the third floor of this building and make a salad at Leaf & Green. It's more expensive, but I don't have to deal with bad service there like I do here.
