Me and my wife were there yesterday service was not the best and the food was same as the service. I wanted to visit this place a long time ago but it was completely different than what I thought. One of the waitress brought out food and she harshly placed everything on the table just pushing everything as if she couldn’t be bothered. I know that some times we have bad days at work but the best you can do is just stay at home, and we ask for more bread and we never got it. They didn’t even ask if we needed more water. I didn’t like the parrillada either steak taste too greasy like they cooked with a lot butter or idk but I’ll never come back I’m really disappointed about this place. One positive note was the service from the buss boy he was attentive.
Atmosphere is nice 👍, food positions are big.

Steak was very tough. Grilled vegetables were not seasoned. Warm bread & wine was the only good part of the meal.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Saldivias! The standout dishes were the entraña and the empanadas. Their chimichurri is also very well seasoned and complements everything.

If you’re looking for a true taste of Uruguay, this steakhouse delivers in every way. The quality of the meat is absolutely superb — rich, tender, and full of that unmistakable Uruguayan flavor. What makes it even more unbelievable is the price. For steaks of this caliber, you’d expect to pay far more; the value here is almost shocking.
The experience gets even better with a glass of Uruguay’s signature Tannat. Their selection is outstanding, and the bold, smooth character of the wine pairs perfectly with the steaks.
A place that combines exceptional meat, outstanding wines, and prices that feel too good to be true deserves all the praise. A must try!

Such a great find! The food was amazing, service was friendly and attentive without hovering, and the vibe is super relaxed with soft South American music in the background, nice uruguayan wine to acompany a hearrty, tasty parrillada. Loved the attention to detail like quietly refilling your water and wine glass and really appreciated the owner approaching our table to inquire about the service. Really attentive stuff and the price was very reasonable for the quality. This was a really nice spot I’d definitely go back to. Highly recommended!

Came here for lunch and got their Monday lunch menu special. While waiting for my soup, I was served half of a warm baguette. Yummy! The lunch menu came with a choice of either soup or salad, which I got the lentil soup. The soup was thick and hearty. It was very good.
My steak was cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. The sides were well-seasoned too. The size of the steak, to me, was sufficient and considered big for a lunch menu. I had a triple chocolate tres leches after my steak. It was the perfect ending.
I received warm and excellent service throughout my lunch.
The restaurant is big and suitable for all party sizes. There is plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant, so that is a plus point.

Food was less than average. The chorizo tasted awful. Shrimp was WAY overcooked, could only taste burned bacon. Ordered as app, came as a meal. Capri salad was just ok. Others in party had blue steak but ordered medium, and some chicken fried steak looking dish that was sent back after one bite. Upset stomach when I got home. Most didn't eat their full meal. I honestly don't know why this place has such good reviews. Sadly cannot recommend.
