I hadn't been there for almost 10 years. It just didn't feel the same. We use to go see Mighty Orq and a bunch of local talent for some really great blues music. Either Houston has changed, or we we all got older.

Shakespeare's has been an all time favorite place of mine. Live Blues entertainment, nice dance floor and fun place to catchup with a friend for drinks. Check out the calendar for music lineup.

The place is not too large and can get a bit noisy when the band is playing. The drinks were fine. I was surprised that the bartenders did not know the drinks by name. I had to tell them the ingredients.
