I have come here twice. Both times they didn’t have the bold kolaches so I’m not even sure if this location makes them although they have them on the menu. The Richmond location is where I usually order from and they always have the bold kolaches, fresh and delicious. The last visit, which was my last visit, she gave me the wrong kolache and it was also hard. My S/C coffee was also awful. Two stars because the service is okay but this location needs to get better before I ever come back.

Unsatisfactory customer service. I was completely embarrassed by the two lady cashiers in front of other customers. I was told my card was declined with an attitude and when all the customers left out then she said “oh some time the machine doesn’t work” after she made me fell uncomfortable. My card in fact did work but the damage was already done. When I told her how I felt she brushed me off. Poor customer service

Houston classic donut and kolache establishment, you can’t go wrong with Shipley’s!
Shout out to Jessica who was extremely kind and accommodating as I arrived at closing time. I’m sure it was not convenient but since I was leaving town and couldn’t do that without my Do-nuts - she stayed to complete my order - she could have easily locked the door and continued with her end of the day tasks but she welcomed me in with a smile. Shipley is very fortunate to have such a diligent and thoughtful employee . I hope they recognize her value. I am extremely grateful to Jessica for her excellent customer service !

Stopped in to pick up donuts and kolaches for a goodwill appreciation visit. Place was super busy... but I was waited on the moment I walked in. I was probably out of there in less than 3 minutes. I'll definitely be back soon to pick up another quick order.
