Everything I ate was delicious. Will definitely be back again. Sushi was fresh and well prepared, small plates were different than what you’d usually find at a Japanese spot. The miso glazed cod (gindara) and the black sesame spinach were highlights of the meal.
New favorite restaurant in Houston. Unassuming exterior, cute & authentic interior. Lots of options not normally seen in most Japanese places I've been to so was fun try something new. The Gindara and the black sesame spinach were particularly good. Sushi was also great. Would definitely go back.

I just visited Japan and upon returning and trying out Teppay Japanese Restaurant, this place is the best in Houston for sushi. The fish is fresh and service is excellent. A lot of their customers are Japanese also.
