The staff always exceed my expectations and make my visit a delectational and therapeutic experience. They should be cloned 10,000 times and placed in all of the donut distribution centers!

I can understand why the "blonde" hispanic lady might always have an attitude or acts like she doesn't care. It seems like she's always alone for the whole shop. It's so unfortunate that management won't get more staff and they should definitely get more employees, mainly because just one person can not perform drive-through, baking, cleaning, cashier and walk-in alone. Also donuts are NOT fresh, they or most likely she just makes donuts in the morning and they have to last all day long, and if they are out of a specific donut they will be out for the rest of the day. And that's the importance of having more than one person because, yes, management can not expect one worker to do every position on her own. that's overwork . Also, she handles money and then hands you food without washing her hands. She definitely doesn't care at this point, and I can see why.

$2.00 increase all at once that was extreme.
not to mention at 6:30in the morning they should have been fresh.
they were either made at 4:00 in the moring or they were yesterdays donuts. At twice a week customer you just lost a good customer

3/4 donuts were bad quality, bad coffee the whole servise was substandard the coffee didnt taste right, thought i did like the decorations i have to give them that
I gave a 4 only because sometimes they are out of plain kolaches. It would be a 4.9, but I can't put that.

Walked in at 5:45 pm with worker on phone not acknowledging us. She gestured that they are closed and the business hours on door said open 7 days a week 5am to 8pm. Would not speak to us at all.

Sigh. Listen! If you can't provide fresh hot donuts at 7:30 AM, then why call yourself a donut shop? And then why even pick the Shipley's name and ruin it with cold glazed donuts. This, is the very worst Shipley's I've ever visited. Exclusively because of cold donuts at 7:30 AM. This was my 2nd attempt at getting them fresh here. Never again.

Always stop at a Shipley's when in Houston, and they never disappoint.
