As a person who has been in customer service for almost 10 yrs. I want to start by saying I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with my entire experience. From when I walked into the door, I was greeted by 1 person whom I notified that it was my first time here. The look on her face seemed as if she had already been pre-irritated. She seated me and my son. I ordered a plate of shrimp & fried rice. It came with a salad and soup. None of my food arrived hot. Everything warm & soggy. My salad was drenched in some sort of dressing. My soup was barely warm & I assume there were supposed to be crispy onions in the soup. However very flavorless. I asked for yum yum sauce and sriracha to go with my meal. The yum yum sauce tasted extremely artificial and chemical-like. I poured it over my food hoping it would add flavor to the dish. It only made it worse. My Mai Tai I received had a gnat on the inside of the glass. I’m glad my son pointed it out before I put my straw in. I had to ask for it to be remade. The replacement drink I received was the same Mai Tai, this time it was gnat free, thank God. But it also tasted like straight liquor, or chemicals very chalky tasting and I just could not enjoy it. I did not finish it either. Overall I wish I could give this place 0 stars . The food was disgusting. The hospitality & customer experience was dull and disappointing. I had such high hopes. Definitely a waste of $49. For the prices that they are charging I expected better quality of food & employees. Somebody needs to do something about this. I will definitely be bringing this review to my social media platforms. I am livid.

There's times we're this place is slow and the food still takes a while to be served, but it seems when they're fully staffed the food comes out quickly and fresh

The service from the waiters is always great, but during my last visit I spoke with a manager who was very unprofessional and lacked basic manners. I’m not sure of her name, but I believe it started with a J. She had a rude attitude and was disrespectful, which is disappointing behavior from someone in a management position.

Did takeout here, but experience dining in many times. Portions for Togo seems less than dining in. That's my only take from here.

We had been here many times before in the past, but when we chose to dine here as a family of 15 for Easter, it was an unpleasant experience. Our server told us that whomever we were paying for had to sit right next to us, which made no sense at all. It's impossible for us all to sit right next to one another. We were splitting the bill. She got angry when I told her that she was the first to hassle us about paying for various family members. We were given a new server. To top that off, half of our party didn't get their salad and soup prior to the main entree being cooked and served. Because of the poor treatment, my sister had words with management and was asked to pay and leave! To add insult to injury at least five of us got sick from eating the food! We won't be back!

Horrible experience. Servers were lacking customer service skills. Management was rude and disrespectful. I've never been treated so badly at any restaurant until today. I ended up leaving unsatisfied

The host was very welcoming and explained the menu and recommended multiple sushi’s that we should get and I got the shaggy dog very yummy and place was very busy but had everything under control. The hostess name was Genesis and I would definitely come again!!

From the moment we sat down, the menu offered a solid variety of Japanese favorites from hand rolls and nigiri to grilled entrees and teppanyaki. The sushi was fresh with clean flavors, and the quality of the fish was noticeable compared to some other casual sushi spots. The teppanyaki grill items arrived sizzling and full of savory flavor, with tender cuts of meat and well-seasoned vegetables. Would definitely recommend

Absolutely No Stars At All! This place have horrible vibes from the door. Visited during lunch hours on a Wednesday. We stood at the door for nearly 10 minutes with no acknowledgement. I Should have left then but I kept the faith, as I'd been curious about this place for a few years now. Finally was sat at a table on the back and for another 10 minutes we just sat there. The restaurant was extremely empty. Server came by and wasn't very friendly. She took our drink and food order and we waited an additional 7-10 minutes. When we spoke up about the amount of time we had been waiting the server further displayed her bad attitude and would not give her name. She didn't mind at all that we were leaving. She did not want to serve us. When I spoke to manager she had nothing to say but there was only one server, while the said server stood behind her and spoke over her. I literally had to interrupt and let the server know I can't listen to two people at once. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here who isn't of the same kind, cause I couldn't help but notice that those who belongee were treated like they belonged. If you know what I mean. So yeah. No Stars!

Was excited to take our kids here for some sushi, we have enjoyed other locations in Georgia and we’re excited they had one while we were visiting in Houston. We did not order hibachi so this review is solely on the sushi dining area. The host staff was really nice but the dining area could definitely use some TLC. The booths are all torn up and unfortunately makes it uncomfortable for ladies wearing dresses. The torn leather literally scrapes on your legs. Our server was nice and attentive, however she was not knowledgeable on any of the food as she did not eat sushi. She could not answer any sushi or seafood related questions. I really can’t imagine working somewhere you don’t eat or aren’t knowledgeable on the food that is about 80-90% of the menu. We ended up ordering a few rolls and started with one that had peppered tuna on top. It was overwhelming with pepper and that was really all you could taste over the tuna. We have never had a roll quite like that, and can’t say we enjoyed it. The spicy tuna crunch roll was pretty good, and the sashimi I ordered was good as well just heavily overpriced in comparison to other sushi restaurants. Unfortunately our kids ordered sprite and their syrup was out so they ended up with soda water for drinks. Overall it was not a very positive experience. My husband wasn’t too thrilled to leave having spent over $100 and still hungry.

Will never patronize ever again. Arrived to this establishment at 9:17p with 1 couple awaiting to be seated prior to my wife and I arrival. Was told by young Hispanic female hostess waiting on Hibachi Grill area to be cleaned. While waiting 3 couples arrived after my wife and I. Young hostess came out and asked who was first? I raised my hand and she stated no sir, they were here before you. I didn't refute the statement however I refuted why ask when you already knew to myself. 5 min later, 2 other couples that arrived after my wife and I were seated for the Hibachi Grill. I then stated ma'am, you seen us as well as told us you were going to seat us next, mind you the couples that arrived after my wife and I were Hispanic. While stating to hostess how wrong she was, here comes another young male Hispanic (wearing glasses) I presume host or server raises his voice and tells me sir I need you to tone your voice (in which im old enough to be his grandfather) or you or free to leave. My wife and I have frequent this establishment when we resided on this side of town and always was treated with the best of hospitality. After this incident on this valentine's day, I will never patronize again and will warn all I know to be mindful visiting this restaurant especially on a holiday

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Atmosphere and service was really good. The sushi and gyoza were amazing. Beware of the hibachi (looks like Guacamole but its not; really spicy and clears your nostrils lol). Only complaint was the soda, it was very flat, ordered an iced tea instead. Would definitely come back to try something new
