Went on Valentine's Day we're told they don't make reservations. Got there at 7:00 p.m. after waiting in line for almost 30 minutes to put our names on the waiting list, we were told there was at least a 20- to 30 minute wait.
At 940p we go to check, and We got skipped over, mind you we were paying attention to our names being called. The young lady at the front knew she skipped over us wouldn't give us eye contact and wasn't trying to make an effort to do something about it kept seating other people.
I had to call a manager to be seated. Got there at 7p, left at 11p.
If you're not going to give the person at the front a better system to keep track of who is waiting for a table they should at least put the time next to the name, so they know who is next.
Also have 2 different pages one for the hibachi tables and one for the others.
Just a thought.
PS. We were not the only ones skipped while we were there waiting.

Came here to dine with my family for my wife’s 40th birthday. Everything was great, Our waitress was Jean, she offered amazing service and kindness, she was concise and sincere about the menu since it was our first time eating here. Our chef was good, will definitely will be coming back!

Food is descent, but no one is ever here. I come in small groups of 2 or 3 during lunch and they look at us crazy like you want us to fire the habichi just for you? It is not my fault that your business is not doing so well should be happy we even show up. (Been there 7 times and same look and feeling everytime)

OMG!!! For my birthday I wanted to experience the Hibachi chef at Shogun and it was so exciting, fun and also very entertaining. It's an experience that you cannot pass up going to the restaurant. Gabriel, our server, was so nice and did an outstanding job with taking care of us. My son and I both ordered the combo filet mignon, chicken and lobster, but substituted for shrimp, mixed vegetables with fried rice. The food was well seasoned, tasty, delicious and the filet mignon was cooked just right. We also had the chicken filled fried egg rolls, which also tasted really good. It was indeed alot of food for me, which was prepared in well proportions. I definitely look forward to this experience again exploring other menu options and I also will consider for to go orders as well. Thank you all for making my birthday even more memorable. ?
We had a wonderful birthday celebration there last night October 1st and enjoyed the service and the food. Chef Micahl was excellent as was our waitress and they brought out a special birthday treat at the end for us
