I'm not sure if the ladies were tired because they didn't seem friendly.

This location has a manager that has the worst attitude I have ever experienced. I WAS coming to this location to get my family members smoothie that has cancer and is constantly at MDAnderson. Most of the time that’s the only thing they can stomach down. I asked for a lot of add ons which the new staff member politely made sure I received them all. I also ALWAYS ask for extremely thick smoothies due to me having to travel back to the hospital with them. The first time I came to this spot the older lady that is the manager I assume did not have a problem with it, but after a few times of coming here I noticed she would get upset that I would ask for them to be extremely thick smoothies (again due to my family member that has cancer) I went this last time on 11/7 and ordered two smoothies the first time I sensed the attitude was due to her having to assist the new staff member on the register to make sure I received the 32oz smoothie for the price of the 20oz smoothies which is a thing every Friday at EVERY LOCATION. Well after my order was placed and made one of the smoothies was not thick per my request so I asked if they could make it thicker. Shortly after that I was not given a bag for my smoothies so I had to ask for one which resulting in my dropping one on accident. I offered to clean my mess up but the new staff member took care of it. Meanwhile the lil old lady that was the manager totally ignored me and no one offered to remake my smoothie which I would have paid for again but did not think I needed to due to me literally dropping it in the store. Meanwhile several other customers came in and the new staff never was trying to take their order and she made it her business. Not to give me eye contact nor did she acknowledge me standing there after the other staff member told me to give him a moment while he took their other orders. I stood there for 2 minutes and had to leave due to not wanting the other smoothie to melt. I paid a total of $38.00 dollars for two smoothies and extremely horrible customer service. I ended up leaving with just one and decided that I would start going to the other location off Kirby instead. It’s a small and inconvenient spot but their customer service is SUPERB AND they treat you with respect. NEVER WILL I EVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN IF I TRULY DO NOT HAVE TO.

I have been going to Smoothie King for over two years and have only had a couple of minor issues with my smoothies but each time the manager resolved the issue.
I love the varieties and now the new items on the menu.
I have recommended them to several of my colleagues and they love them!

Horrible customer service. I came in today with my friend for the free reward on the app (the pumpkin smoothie) and I had it ready to be scanned and the lady up front got an attitude and started talking so disrespectfully, as if I was dumb and I didn’t know what I was doing. I had all ready for her and she went out of her way to act like I was stupid. She went on to say “if you put your phone down on the table I could help you” with an attitude. Mind you, I had it already selected and ready to be scanned. Which I had told her but she didn’t believe me. I then went to the side and refreshed my app 3 times and went back to the reward THREE times and it showed the exact screen and QR code for them to scan- so I went back up there and this other lady she scanned it and it was done. That other lady was so rude and disrespectful, smoothie king has always been one of my favorite places to go, especially after the gym so her behavior was insane. The smoothie was also made with no care, she just slapped it together and gave it to me. If I could give this review a 0 I would. She should not be working at a customer service job with her attitude to customers.

My smoothie should be a blueish color ….i ordered the strawberry hulk, no bananas, substitute with apple blueberry juice
I order the same exact smoothie every. Single. Day. So I know exactly the color it should be and the taste. Why did I receive something almost grey and odd tasting? She claimed followed the order but it’s clear she did.

One of the first locations I’ve visited in a while where I haven’t seen fruit flies hovering around the produce or other areas. Everything looked clean, fresh, and well-maintained — definitely appreciated!

I ordered 3 20oz smoothies- they asked me if I needed a carrier/cup holder - I think is obvious as I had do many… I also specified clear cups and they still used styrofoam cups… then They didn’t have the ling straws -which I prefer-, so they laughed at me for wanting the longer straws… excuse me? Bad service on 03/31/2025 at 5:20 PM CST.
