My family is from New Orleans, after losing both parents and an older brother during the Holidays, I decided to cater from Ms Catherine rather than cook for myself. It was truly the best decision. Absolutely all of the Holiday meal was definitely like being back home. Everything was very good, and reasonably priced. I have returned for the fried ribs. GAME CHANGER! Ms Catherine is a very kind soul! Her staff is very nice and helpful. I will continue to make the drive for good food and good people! Blessings

Place is too small right at the door to come in & out is dangerous drive through is too closed by the door on the same side of the entrance & exit door you can get hit by a vehicle going in the restaurant or coming out of the restaurant. I, was coming out of the door, I, almost got hit by a vehicle, I, wave my hand trying let the driver know, I, am going be coming out, but, did no good about time, I, push the door the driver pull off.

The orders are Always messed up or FOOD is MISSING. The staff is always arguing with one another & should pay more attention to getting the orders correct. The food is fairly decent & I would have continued to patronize however Catherine the owner, hung up in my face when I asked for a $7.99 refund for a food item I didn't receive.

I ordered door dash & baby that food hit the spot...I've been craving some good ole' soul food but being my baby is in the hospital I couldn't make it & ordered it....THAT FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!! I will always get the yams & cabbage as a side with EXTRA cabbage!!!!

I got the rice, beans and sausage bowl as their special. It tasted good but I only got two slices of sausage in my soup for $7.00. I only got rice and beans basically and a drink for $11.17
While I was waiting on my food I could hear the cook voice and old school songs playing in the background from the restaurant. The smells of the food cooking was mouth watering. It was my first visit. I order Fried Crabs, Fried Fish Mash Potatoes, Yams, Collards, And Peach Cobble. I was pleasantly please with the freshness of the food and very happy with the taste of the food. Dining at Soul food by Catherine is comparable to eating at Big Mama's house for Sunday dinner. It's a no thrills, no frills atmosphere, but it does serve up delicious food that is incredibly reminiscent of that childhood comfort food you would eat at Grandma's. If you are watching your caloric intake, this is not the place for you. However, if you are craving crispy chicken, decadently rich Mac n cheese, succulent fried ribs, then come on in. Ms. Catherine is not only a wonderful cook but a big personality. She is full of sass, energy and kindness. She is a former educator and serves up wonderful stories just as readily and easy as she serves her food. So, go on on over to Big Mama's house. You will always be welcomed.

I had seen Katherine’s Soul Food on commercials after different churches services. I was thinking ok another soul food place. Well lo and behold one of my good friends decided to go for lunch. I tell you I ordered the smothered turkey necks with mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet yams and macaroni and cheese. It was so good and delicious 8 went back the next day to order the fish and shrimp. Katherine’s Soul Food is one of those hidden gems 💎 that reminds you of your grandmother’s cooking on a Sunday afternoon after church. I will return again and try the fried ribs. They have so much to chose from and their portions are perfect. The customer service is amazing as well!😘

I have enjoyed thier food everytime I went. I mostly go after church. The chicken is cooked per order so there is a longer wait for that, but it's worth the wait. I never had fried chicken that fresh.
