As a former restaurant manager I was not pleased with the overall service. I drove 45 minutes to get disappointed. When I arrived I was not greeted upon arrival, I stood there for 8 minute s before I was asked had I been helped then I was told thet will be with me in a few minutes as they had a catering order to gather. I waited another 10 minutes before asked was I getting a anything fried, I then ordered the Porkchops and daily 2 piece chicken special . After 45 minutes of being there I received my order and it was not what I expected. The staff seemed very overwhelmed and my plate was threw together and was very sloppy. Also the location was not very pleasant, not very nice people . I will not return to this location.

Ordered Turkey Necks with sides. And a large container of gumbo. Not exactly sure why or how they managed to forget the turkey necks. It wasn't crowded in there. And a splash of attitude on top of it? Wow. Thanks. Money and gas wasted.

This by far is the worst soul food I’ve ever had! The meatloaf is really Salisbury steak (better off going to Cracker Barrel), the yams disgusting and the cobbler just sugar with no real crust. Learned my lesson.

From the time we walked into this spot, we were treated like family warm welcome and outstanding service. When I say everything we ordered on the menu was out of this world ? good. Fried ribs, ox tails collard green max and cheese corn bread Kool aid. And let's know forget the ladies that just made this this trip all the more pleasant and memorable. Just had to take pictures with them. Best Soul Food in Texas hands down.

This is a very nasty place. The food, the employees, and the owner are all terrible. 0/10. If you want good soul food, find somewhere else like “Mikki’s” or “This is it”! This establishment is very ghetto and disgusting. Every time I come here, I regret it. The drive thru has been trap as hell for almost a decade. Don’t make the same mistake I did by eating here. The owner is nosy and a harasser. She should be in jail. The “Soul” food is not made with love and taste like it’s been prepared and founded by evil hands. Miserable people make miserable tasting food. Honestly repulsive..
