Don't know why we've never been here since Good Dog left, BUT, I can't wait to go back!!! I had the green curry salmon that was incredible, as was my husband's fried chicken sandwich... pounded so thin it's folded in half and you think it's a double smash. š. The fries...š„°š
So many other things on the menu I now want to try, but hate to think I'd miss that salmon if I did. Just plain delicious!! Service was friendly, a team project, and fully on point. I tipped heavily in gratitude for serving me that delicious food!!
Parking: Parking is directly across the street.

On a rainy evening in Houston near Rice University, We were looking for a place for some good drinks and ok food. SYC offered one better, good drinks with good food.
I got the daiquiri and Anuya got an IPA along with a Burrata Sandwich, which we shared. The sandwich came with fries which went well with the drinks. The Food and the drinks were good and the outside patio was nice in the breeze.

Two pizzas, two beers and food poisoning on top of it!
I really enjoy the thin crust pizza they call "spicy goat"... It combines goat cheese and (not extreme) habanero on a really good crust. Lots of beer options. Nice patio and deck.
Parking: Free gravel lot is directly across the street.

Stopped in for food and a good dark beer. My son had a pepperoni pizza that was wood fired and he gave it 2 thumbs up.
I dared to try a steak. Usually, I'm wary of steaks that aren't from an actual steak restaurant because of prior disappointments.
The first thing I notice when getting any food at a restaurant, is whether the plate was heated before serving. Definitely nice and hot. The ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare and was tender and juicy. Most ribeyes have a fair amount of fat that's usually not edible. Not with this steak, it had zero waste. The steak included fried onion strips and potatoes. Excellent all the way around.
I'll visit again soon to sample other menu options.
My beer option was a dry stout and would recommend it if you like dark beers.

The BEST hummus plate I've ever had! Pizza was fresh and tasty. Fried green tomatoes were also fantastic. Service was excellent, and they were very accommodating when we needed to move to a larger table. Wine pours seemed a bit light, but I would return again very happily. Highly recommend!

Great service (thatās you Allison!). Cocktails and food were awesome. Good options - healthy, not healthy, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic. Pizzas were lit! Also - the flounder fish and chips were off the chain! We watched the game in their outdoor patio. Only problem was Allison couldnāt order up a win for our team. Weāll come back and try again!

A feeling of warmth embraces you as you walk in the front door. Ray made us feel right at home & treated us like a local even though we were traveling from AZ. Trust her suggestions on beverages & food. This girls palate is on point!!
My husband had the steak night special $25 Prime Rib with a pint. The Prime Rib was smokey & flavorful. My lamb chops melted in my mouth & my only complaint was I wanted more when my plate was empty.
Excellent neighborhood restaurant with a rotating menu & attentive staff. We'll be back for sure!
