Sorry it took me a moment to post this… I have visited Phil & Derek’s multiple times… afternoons and evenings (make a reservation if you want a guaranteed seat ?) the food NEVER disappoints. They have good music (R&B mostly) playing during the day and sensational live artist some evenings. Great atmosphere I went to this place on a Thursday. The jazz was excellent along with the laid back feel. The food was not the best. We ate before we got there and I am glad we did. We opted to get some dessert (donut bread pudding). I took 2 bites and couldn’t eat it. I was not a fan. Needless to say, I would definitely come back for the vibes but not the food.
One of the best comedy venues in Houston…it’s a good mix of seasoned professionals who stop by for a quick set and newcomers on the rise. Fantastic atmosphere and great drinks & food. 🍾😎
