I called for a reservation for my wife's and I anniversary. The rep was not very helpful to where she expected me to call later at another time not given. For an event that would make a difference because it was an opportunity to show my wife a wonderful experience. I have to make another effort. Where I thought I had made the best decision. Thanks
Just wanted to add that restaurant is closed for public admission. It’s only for events. Sad, it has awesome views.
AHHH-MAZING place to finish our night , Houston never disappoints ! Would go again !
Haven't been here since my high school prom dinner in 1998. The spindletop is still open but only used for special occasions/events not an everyday restaurant since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Loved everything about this experience
At Hyatt Regency downtown it was cold
👍 This was an exceptional spot for special occasions or romantic dinners.
👍 They offered a lovely service of placing rose petals on your table for a small fee.
👍 The dining area slowly rotated, providing a stunning 360-degree view of Downtown Houston.
👎 Unfortunately, the restaurant is now closed to the public. I believe it shut down a couple of years ago, which is very disappointing... especially since Shula's is a poor substitute.
🤜 According to the hotel website, the venue is still available for business events, but that doesn’t help restaurant-goers.

Fabulous restaurant with incredible food, and of course, memorable views!
We went there very many years ago while staying at the Hyatt Recency Hotel. We had a beautiful experience. We had dessert and I remember that the waiter was nice. I'd like to go back while visiting Houston.
Wonderful views. Yummy grub. Service was awkward.
Excellent
Place has a lot of potential for a elegant event; it could fit up to 200 guest; it has tables and high boys tables for those who loves to move around or sitting and enjoy the 360 view of Houston Downtown.
