Average food, higher price range.
Start with the positives: I like the beef tartare. Its pretty refreshing and very well done
We got mussels (recommended by Google) and it’s just mid. 16 bucks for three pieces of bread and some frozen mussels.
Chicken is fine. But how can you possibly mess up chicken thighs. The potatoes aren’t tasty - very mushy and lack flavors on the inside. But what could be worse?

THE BURGER. I don’t know why people recommend this. It’s the size of my fist and the fries are so so salty. I kept drinking water and the water cup is so small I have to portion my sips so I don’t always have an empty cup. The meat fell apart and tasted very gamey. I don’t like it AT ALL.

Plus: there are SO MANY FLIES. Not fruit flies, big ass flies swarming around the eating space. So damn disgusting.

I’m not going back. Bye

I’ve been to Squable twice now, and all I do is think about going back (We were there 3weeks ago.) My fiancée and I were recommended to try dinner after we already had an amazing time at Brunch.

When we got there for dinner we were served by Hal who walked us through any questions we had and gave great feedback.

Our entire meal was paced so well, we never waited on anything, we didn’t leave insanely full, and everything from the service to the food was phenomenal.

I highly recommend the Pork Milanese, Roast Chicken, and Local Mushroom dishes. I if lived in Houston, I’d be a regular. Do yourself a favor and stop by.
Edit: I have this 5 stars but google won’t let me lol.

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent service! It was my first time in Houston and my daughter surprised me with a dinner reservation at Squable. It did not disappoint! If you're in the area make it to this chic little restaurant with dishes boasting big flavor and presentation. I recommend the lamb ribs in white BBQ sauce!

One of my new favorites in Houston... I've been six times in the last three months. I've taken myself, friends, and colleagues to eat there. The poached leeks are absolutely refreshing (not a word commonly used to describe leeks). The chicken liver pate is quite a good contrast of sweet (apple butter jam) and sour (pate) with a round of sourdough. The roasted sweet potato with lacquered pork belly is an excellent mix of flavors and textures.

Took my mother out for a late lunch, we had an amazing time. The cocktails were good, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Forgive me I cannot remember his name, but my mother was very pleased describing him as a very nice young man lol

10 outta 10! This was one of the best meals I've had in awhile in Houston. Don't sleep on this place!

Each dish was unique and the service was impeccable. Michelle, our waitress, went above and beyond. Will definitely be coming back!

Great place to get small plates, cold and hot, and/or a large entree. Specialty cocktails are available as well as non-alcoholic specialty mocktails. Shout out to our bartender, Mario, who did an excellent job and was friendly.

One of the best restaurants in the city. Service is always great, they continue to innovate with new dishes, and I have never had a bad experience.

Even after mixing it there was more olive oil than tartare . I couldn’t even taste the tartare bc of how the sauce was overbearing and other ingredients which overwhelmed the potential of the taste. Worst tartare I’ve ever had.
