Inside is pretty spacious though tight for large group. You order upfront kr through kiosk. They have a variety of selections between noodles and rice plates. Portions are pretty reasonable for price though it did get a bit smaller/less meat for noodle soups as prices rose slightly. Wish they have the soup spoons bc plastic is a hassle to use.. They have complementary tea and self serve hot sauce (chili oil, sriracha). Food tastes good overall. Usually order beef noodle soup, seafood noodle soup, fried chicken/pork with rice, or grilled chicken/pork served on black grill dish (?) with rice that comes with side salad, and highly rec the spicy fried squid. Always a place to go for an affordable meal.

You can pick 4 toppings (including fresh fruits, jelly etc) for each shaved iced. I had Taro shaved ice and it was delicious. The popcorn chicken (盐酥鸡) had great flavor and texture too!Def recommend this snack/dessert

Prices went up like crazy....it's not cheap as it was anymore which is really sad. Also the lady who said the thing about having to order at the kiosk is wrong lmao you have to go up to the two people and order there...

The thai tea taste very watered down and flavorless. But... the beef tendon soup is delicious and fresh. Probably wouldn't recommend getting tea here, but the food is great. The place is very busy and hectic on the weekends. Sometimes it is definitely difficult to grab a table, especially if you have a bigger group. The service is average. You pick up your drink orders yourself and if you order food they will deliver it to your table.

I'd gone to this place for the last eleven years, but will never return. They now have a kiosk to take orders. I have an eye condition that makes it hard for me to look at screens that don't have a warm-light filter on them. But if you want to order here, you have to endure that. Then, they have a $10 min. order, so you can no longer just order one drink. Or even two, because two drinks are about $9 to $9.50. So good luck getting to $10, without going to $12 or $15, which is what I would pay for lunch, not a quick dessert stop. Oh yeah, and then the kiosk has you spend time typing out your name, only for the cashier to call you by a number. Do not recommend.

Its me again at the same place I am regular here and although I have tried most of the menu, which is not as big but well done and quite various, I always end up ordering either as appetizer or to go an order of calamari/squid and fried tofu! The most tender and well fried (both)! It is not very salty or overly seasoned so when you add the chili sauce or sriracha ... Explotion Service is usually very fast. Now, ambiance can be rather loud because its a small place that is always PACKED and many times with line outside but trust me, 100% worth the wait and the line!

Milk tea was nice and sweet. Good tall cup. Popcorn chicken with spicy powder was crispy and good as well. Prices online / online order are wrong. Ended up paying $2 more in total.

Went there on xmas. It was busy and a bit confusing with 2 ordering stations AND an ordering kiosk but food came out at a reasonable pace so wait wasn't long. 3 dishes and 2 appetizers were only $48 after tip. Good, basic comfort food, and shaved ice was lovely. Would definitely come back to try other dishes and their drinks.

I've been going to star since I was a kid! This place always hits the spot & there's something for everyone. There's dry noodles, noodle soups, rice platters, boba drinks, shaved ice, etc. The food portion is great for the price you're paying. And probably one of the cheapest boba places in Bellaire! Their drinks are nothing as fancy as other boba spots in the area but the taste is always satisfying. Service is usually quick and everything is ordered at the front and you find a seat if dining in.

I've been a regular at Star Snow for as long as I can remember, and even with price creeping up since inflation, it's still my go-to. The place is usually busy on weekends. Flavors and portions haven always been consistent. My go-to orders are the Fried chicken with rice or Fried pork chop. Drinks are decent, but I'd rather hit up a different spot for boba. All the utensils are flimsy plastic and it can be a pain when cutting. There used to be real utensils before, not sure what happened. Service is chill - Order at the counter, grab utensils and sauces, while tables are first come first serve. Star Snow continues to be a reliable, budget-friendly spot for tasty dishes.

I love Taiwanese chicken nuggets. Just love them. I usually would go to Tapioca House to get some Taiwanese chicken nuggets meal. You know? Rice, nuggets, and some veggies? However, over the year, I've noticed that the price at Tapioca House kept going up and the portion kept getting smaller. I knew that Star Snow Ice served Taiwanese chicken nuggets too but I'd always gone to Tapioca House because I like the flavor there better. However, during one fine day my sister and her family was visiting from Dallas and they stopped by Star Snow Ice and she had asked me if I wanted anything from the restaurant before they made their way to my place. I, of course, asked her to get me some chicken nuggets meal, which she obliged. When they had made their way to my place and gave me my meal. I was like, WHOA!!! THIS is a meal! That meal box was full!! Chicken, egg, rice, even a couple of tofu in the box. And when I started eating the meal, the flavor was a lot better than I'd remembered it. Now I had asked my sister to get me TWO meals because when I get my meal from Tapioca House, one meal was never enough. But after eating one meal from Star Snow Ice, I was stuffed. Sorry Tapioca House. I will miss you but unless you give me more food for the money, Star Snow Ice has my business now.

Food is very affordable and food came out quickly. Food and drink prices are very affordable and they have a big serving of food. The place was a little crowded when we went, that was past 1:30 pm. We will definitely come back and this place is good for anyone who is looking for a budget-friendly meal and a big portion of serving. They have a kiosk also so you can select the food that you want and order from there. The ambiance was okay.
