State fare always has good innovative food, and a welcoming chill environment for families or a group meet up. Always a good time!

The food was good, and our waiter was very polite. The issue is that they seemed to be grossly understaffed in the kitchen and the dining room. It took almost 2-1/2 hours for a dinner that should have lasted 60-90 minutes at the most. Apps were slow, water refills were slow, entrees were slow. This was not a complicated table with multiple cocktails and special requests. This was our first time to visit, and we brought a group of friends and family because we've heard good things. Unfortunately, I doubt that we will return. 

This was my first trip to this location. We were a large party of 15 people for a holiday brunch. The service was outstanding. The food was delicious and it's a very cool looking restaurant. Parking was a bit of an issue due to the holidays, but it was definitely worth the trip!

We had a great early Saturday dinner. Our waiter was attentive and kind. The food was amazing. The menu had been revamped since the last time I had visited so it was nice to not see so many options, but also so many of my favorites still there! The table shared the fried green tomatoes of course and I went with the BBQ chicken kale cesar salad, and it was perfect!

We hosted our happiest meeting yet at State Fare in The Woodlands, and it was an absolute triumph thanks to Kim and her incredible team! From the moment we started planning, they made everything seamless—helping us select the perfect menu and reserving the entire restaurant for the evening. Their warmth, professionalism, and fun energy set the tone for a flawless night. They went above and beyond to accommodate every detail, and the service? A 20/10! The servers were attentive, joyful, and truly the best we’ve ever experienced. And the food… SOOO good. Every bite was top-notch, and our guests couldn’t stop raving. If you’re looking for a venue that blends amazing food with exceptional customer service, look no further. State Fare made our celebration unforgettable, and we can’t recommend them highly enough!!

Finally got enjoy the brunch menu and even the Texans Game Day Menu..Frozen Cocktails were so good. Will definitely be by again.

There was something up with the food this time. Normally the food is good, but that day was bad. Stale chips, runny dip, overcooked burger, just not getting hardly any of the details right. Plus the live music was lackluster at best.

The shrimp in the salad was ripe. This place has been going downhill for awhile, and it's close to rock bottom.

I went here to celebrate and impress a new business partner and the best things in the building were, the chips in the smoked chicken nachos, the wine, the decor and most importantly, Brandon our server. Other than that, the food was horrible. We both ordered the smoked chicken Cobb salad. The chicken was perhaps the most disgusting pulled chicken, with no flavor that I ever had!!!!!! The smoked chicken nachos were presented as an experiment from an 11 year old aspiring chef.

Seated immediately. Attentive service. Excellent food with the barbecue rib appetizer exceptionally good. Burgers and sandwiches all well received. Will return.

We made reservations for the woodlands location. Arrived earlier than scheduled and they were definitely expecting us. In fact they called to make sure we were coming (red flag #1). When we arrived we were greeted by the lady at the hostess stand and told her we were waiting for the rest of our party. She advised we could be seated early if needed. There was four chairs in the waiting area and all were wet. Not a big deal. Wiped the water and sat down and some sat down outside. Water kept dripping on us. Come to find out it was the vents from the AC. No big deal but you would think with this price point and a little more upscale restaurant they would be wiping down the chairs…..all of our Party arrived and we all were seated at our table and told who our server would be. We were excited and had already looked at the menu online and knew what were going to order. However after looking at the menu handed to us it was quite minimal from what is posted online and missing several of the items we looked forward to ordering. (Red flag #2). We all chose other options and patiently waited for our server only for no one to show up and greet us after 10+ minutes. (Red flag #3) plenty of servers walking around doing nothing … coming from the industry 2 min to greet your table or something is wrong…. Especially in a more upscale restaurant. so We decided to leave As we were leaving we told the lady at the front that we were leaving due to not being waited upon. She hollered “nooooo” my husband said yes we are leaving not what we were expecting given the ambiance and pricing of this restaurant. We will take our business elsewhere. She again “nooooo” in a begging tone. The restaurant was NOT busy at all. 6pm on Sunday evening. We were so excited to try this place but obviously disappointed to say the least

First drink had a Nat in it. I ordered. Late and received a cappuccino.. other than that it was good.

I've been here a lot for lunch and brunch and loved it each time. But this past time I went with my family, it seems like they changed the menu. They made it smaller and took some things off the menu. The food quality was just meh. I was a little bummed to see a place I've loved in the past change. The service was great, but the food and change in menu was a little off putting.

Great place to take family, I brought my mom here for Labor Day weekend and she loved it. Their mimosa flight, deviled eggs, grits, and breakfast burrito were all amazing.

We celebrated my Goddaughter's birthday here. The breakfast boards were amazing and the Mimosas were delicious!! Our waiter was fantastic! Great personality and outstanding customer service! We will definitely be back and tell our family and friends to try StateFare!!!
