Walked into Steak & Shake for the first time. Employees were rude and not helpful. They wouldn’t help us to order on their screen. When we asked for help it was as if we were bothering them. She just put her spatula in the air and said combos are on there. Another lady walked in spoke Spanish to them and the ladies were very friendly to her. I told my husband let’s go somewhere else. One of the employees told the lady in Spanish it’s ok they can go somewhere else. I am white but understand and speak Spanish. I will never return to a place that doesn’t care about customer service and is racist. We went to Chili’s the employee went and opened the door for us. 2 people welcomed us. Came and attended to us immediately.

9/12/2025 - AVOID DUE TO EXTENDED WAIT TIMES. This location is using a camping grill because their regular grill is inoperable. A burger is a 15 minute wait.

There must have been an accident in the kitchen because there is no way they made the burger that salty on purpose. Genuinely tastes like the lid fell off the salt shaker

Go there at 610 am 2 employees standing around on their phone. I ask what time they open, I’m told in a bit. I ask you don’t have a specific time? You know it is a business! I’m told no in a bit.

It’s an airport. No room for a line to get food or pick it up. It’s beside two or three other restaurants in a small space. It will take forever to get food. Don’t order unless your terminal for the connecting flight is really close. The food is outstanding though. We love steak and shake. The prices are astronomical. For our small family we paid over $70.

Don’t get the chicken tenders. I got food poisoning and I know it was from them because they didn’t look good or taste good. I ended up throwing it out. 24 hours later I’m really sick.
