This was one of the better Thai/Laos meals I’ve had so far
We ordered the Laos-style papaya salad with crab, bamboo soup, and glass noodle salad, all at Thai spicy level 5.
The papaya salad had a great balance of spicy, sour, and salty flavors. The fermented crab gave it an authentic taste, just like back home.
The glass noodle salad was definitely the highlight. It was absolutely delicious, loaded with shrimp, fresh herbs, vegetables, and peanuts. The noodles were perfectly seasoned and not soggy at all.
I ordered level 5 spice for everything, and honestly, I didn’t expect it to be this spicy in the best way possible! Many Thai restaurants say their level 5 is spicy, but it barely has any heat. This place actually delivers real Thai spice, and I loved every bite.
The portions were huge, the ingredients tasted fresh, and every dish was packed with flavor. Overall, eating here genuinely felt like sitting in the middle of the countryside in Thailand, enjoying authentic homemade food. If you’re looking for real Thai/Laos flavors and aren’t afraid of spice, this place is absolutely worth visiting.

This place is a restaurant that also sells selected thai/ asian products from packaged goods to a few thai dessert options. We ordered two dishes. The first one is kra pow moo krob (crispy skin pork with thai basil). Tastes really good. However i didn’t expect to see string beans in it as it was not listed in the description.

Another dish is papaya salad (thai style) with fried chicken. We are not great with spicy food so we ordered both dishes not spicy. Papaya salad was sour with mild spiciness. If you can handle spicy food even a little bit, I would recommend getting a spicy level 2. The four other customers ordered pad thai and it looks really good, so i might try that next time.

The food here is so good. We had 2 dishes and 2 appetizers.the only downside is how small it is inside. And it gets pretty packed so I would call ahead of time to place an order to go

If you’re craving an authentic Thai street-food experience, this market delivers pure comfort on a plate. I ordered the red curry packed, it packet with bamboo shoots and peppers that is rich, spicy and absolutely phenomenal when spooned over fluffy jasmine rice. We had the crispy, deeply seasoned fried short ribs served with a fiery and sweet dipping. Tied the whole meal together is a beautiful, family-style platter of pad see ew served traditionally on a banana leaf, showcasing perfectly caramelized wide rice noodles and crisp Chinese broccoli with that coveted, smoky wok-char flavor. Street Food Thai Market is an ultimate casual dining spot, proves you don’t need a fancy setting to get unforgettable taste!

very casual no frills place for vibe but food is fire 🔥 (literally and speaks for itself) - had green curry and basil tofu and lao salad, all spice level 5 and still feeling it. next time will do 3, i suggest others to get a 1 or 2 unless you like nuclear spice.

wouldn’t get the lao salad again as too much tomato for my taste but curry was awesome and basil tofu was signature thai with good basil.

Though it’s a busy and bustling place, which is an indication that they must be doing something right, the atmosphere is not the best. If you’re looking for a quiet, ambient experience this is not the place! However, the service is good and the food is exceptionally good! And Not to expensive!
I frequent this place, but mostly for takeout! If you love Thai food, or want to try something new, I highly recommend it!

i’ve been going to this restaurant for a couple years now and usually the service is good and the food is great. however, the past two times i’ve been here me and my friends have had bad experiences with the service. from getting our orders wrong to being completely ignored at the table for an hour (i had to get up and ask for assistance twice), it was very disappointing to say the least. i used to love this restaurant but the service will be preventing me from returning.

If you appreciate authentic flavor and actual, legitimate heat, Street Food Thai Market is a must-visit in The Heights. I’ve eaten here several times and just about everything on the menu hits, but on my last visit, I went with a couple of standouts.

First up, the Spicy Street Wings. They were cooked to absolute perfection, super flavorful with a really solid kick to start the meal. For the main, I got the Pad Mama at a Level 4 spice.

Word of warning on their spice scale (1–5): do not play with the last two levels unless you have a serious tolerance. Level 4 is right at the limit of what I can handle without full-on regretting my choices the next day. By the end of the meal, I was literally sweating, but the balance of flavor is so incredible that you honestly cannot stop eating.
Amazing food, great consistency, and easily a spot I personally recommend to anyone looking for the real deal. Put it on your list!

Best Thai food. The spice levels are rated 1-4. Definitely spicy if you like spice.

After we were sitted, the couple next to us who got sitted next, got their drinks first and got their orders as well. Meanwhile, we were just waiting for any wait staff ask us for our drinks and they they just kept passing us. Finally one of my friend told the guy who is the owners son and we finally got waited on. Service here is not what it use to be. Then I ordered gaeng om, and tasted so different. It was very watery which is supposed to be more like stew. Then it also tasted sour, which its not what it use to be.
