Food was excellent. Service was good. We did not like how close the tables were. We literally were sitting 6 inches from the table next to us. It was somewhat awkward. I also don't love how they rush you out of the restaurant. Once you're done eating, they start really pushing you to leave. We went on a Wednesday evening and there were many open tables so it's not like we were sitting and wasting time while they were waiting for our table to flip. Finally, both my husband and I commented on how small the portions were. We don't eat a lot, so it's plenty for us, but they were small portions and quite expensive. Despite these comments, I would go back because the food was excellent.
All sound great experience at Street to Table from the time we walked in and were greeted, to the delicious food from our amazing server. This is a restaurant you should not miss. Can't wait to go back again.
Absolutely delicious!! We all were thrilled with the quality and preparation—and every bite was better than the last!! Highly recommend!
Everything about this place makes me happy. The food, staff, atmosphere is all top notch. The fried pork belly has an amazing crust all while the meat stays tender and moist. The garlic and chive pancakes are tasty with an incredible sauce to go along with it. These hand pulled noodles they offer have a great texture and chew. Just walking inside you can smell the basil and it lets you know you are in for a treat. Hurry up and try them out!

my wife and I sat at the bar ( would highly recommend this ) because we got to see all the food coming out of the kitchen and the staff would show and explain us all the amazing dishes to us. Our first impression was amazing
Not sure why this is a Michelin star restaurant. Every dish was off. We ordered 300 dollars of food. Only like the curry.

I have been to this restaurant several times before. Today has been the WORST experience yet. The hostess was extremely rude. We literally walked in and nicely asked could we be seated at the bar since the lobby full. She immediately snapped on us! I can not believe that she spoke so rudely to us. I have never had a racial moment in this place UNTIL TODAY. She even walked off with another customer (and yes she was seated before of us needless to say) and begin to talk crap about is with the customer. She was sure to let know that she knew what she was doing and had been “doing this” for 15 years. We had been planning to come for a few months now so we didn’t leave (and that’s what she wanted us to do anyway)
Thank God a lady name Sam came and kinda took over and starting handling the seating and still managing to wait on her table.
We have been here for 30 minutes now, sitting in the last table by the hallway waiting to get greeted and finally a waitress just walked over….lets see how goes. I will update you all with our service. Being a long time entrepreneur myself I am more than sure the owner of this establishment is ok with the hostess ruining the entire experience for the customers! We come here OFTEN so I’m surprised I got the “black girl” treatment today.
Do better please. We maintained our morals and character and didn’t allow things to escalate. Do better lady in the front, black women should be able to be treated the same way as all other customers.
Really want to like this place, but don’t think it’s worth it. First visit, mild/medium was good, but on second visit mild was over the top. Waitress blamed “winter chilies being spicier”. Umm ok, adjust accordingly and use less? The restaurant is overly strict about no modifications, which severely limits vegetarian options to their handful of the less interesting vegan dishes. The layout is also odd - the hostess stand is jammed right into the door which causes a traffic jam upon entry and exit. We will unapologetically not be back.

Super long wait. Salad was super spicy even though it was mild. Food was better then other Thai restaurants in Houston
Way too busy - I had to call 30 times to update my reservation and switch to togo. Not even over exaggerating. Then I went to pick up my order for 8:30pm after I had asked for it to be 9:10pm but I couldn’t call them to change the time because they wouldn’t answer…so now I’m sitting here waiting for 30 minutes. Crazy.
Delicious (and spicy) food. Definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant is right by a gas station and with compact seating. With dim Lighting, this place got a clandestine vibe. We ordered dry pork as appetizer and it tasted good, on the sweet side. For main, we got pad kee Mao mild spice level, green curry, and pad see ew. However, they made a mistake and brought us pad kra pow instead of pad see ew. We didn’t ask them to change it as we already waited quite a while for our food and we were hungry. The green was mildly spicy and delicious. However, my kee Mao and my partner’s kra pao were so spicy that we were sniffling and crying while eating it and downed 2 pitchers of water. We were literally in pain that we were unable to enjoy the meal. It was clear that Their spice levels packs more heat compared to other Thai places and we were not aware of that when ordering. In the end the server did suggest other non spicy dishes may be more appropriate for us to try next time. Overall, enjoyed green curry but the heat completely overpowers any flavors in other dishes.
We came with high expectations because of all the good reviews but something is left wanting. They also automatically add a service Charge of 22% to the bill.
My wife and I were looking for a nice dinner after enjoying Astros Light Up the Park. This popped up on our radar because my wife is Thai and keeps up with fun, trendy spots. Parking in the area was scarce, but it’s downtown so not a major detractor and honestly expected. Once we reached the restaurant, the hostess was very nice and asked if we had a reservation. With an apology I said no and asked if they had a table available. This would be the opportunity to turn us away. She verified and we were allowed to be seated. At that point we were handed over to Sam. She got our drink order and explained how hot the chef likes to make everything, no big deal, we are familiar with Thai. It crossed my mind, a lot like my family cuisine from Louisiana, people can make the misinterpretation it’s all about heat though. Nonetheless, I gave the place benefit of the doubt and we were excited to enjoy another award winning experience within a 24 hour period. We decided to browse the menu and try a couple dishes out. The place was busy so we had plenty of time to read the menu and decide what we wanted. When Sam came back with our cocktails we said we were ready and she took our order. Food came pretty quick, but that’s when service began to really dip. I don’t know if there was an inconvenient obligation felt to serve us initially, based on appearance because I had nice pants, dress boots, but did of course have a throwback Astros jersey on, may be I wasn’t “bougie” enough to warrant the appropriate attention. I watched the neighboring tables be tended to at 3 times the rate we were. This really motivated us to save our money in this case since there was no opportunity to order more drinks. I definitely depleted my drinks due to the heavy handed serving of Thai chilis thrown in; my wife has a higher tolerance of course. The heat level was unenjoyable and totally detracted from really tasty looking dishes that should have been excellent based on ingredients otherwise. I became further displeased with the overall experience of trying to eat unenjoyable food with nothing to wash it down with while being body-rocked by the 808 blaring from the speakers to rival StereoLive. Finally I was able to make enough eye contact with Sam, she remembered we existed and I told her we were done.
If you’re aiming for an elevated Thai experience, this is like one of those comically bad scenes from the movies where it’s all trend and no class. Definitely a one and done for me. Disappointing!
