The guy who was receiving people at the door was really unkind and rude to us. He wouldn’t let me in for no reason. His excuse was that I was drunk in front of everybody which wasn’t true. I felt humiliated so I won’t definitely go back. People shouldn’t be treated that way.

I simply asked the lightskin long hair female worker if they offer a military discount for active duty military. Instead of a polite “no,” I was met with a dismissive attitude and was basically made to feel unwelcome for even asking the question.
To be clear, I completely understand that not every business offers military discounts—that’s their choice. What’s unacceptable is the way the situation was handled. A simple, respectful response would have been more than enough. Instead, the interaction felt disrespectful and unnecessary.

Does anyone care about customer service here? Management are drunks. Food?! There’s no food! Drinks are kind of pricey. It stinks! Ladies rooms toilet was clogged.

I personally have been here a few times over the last 6 years and every time has been nice. It’s a good spot to head to after an Astros game, fun dj with good dance floor energy, and a rooftop view in the east downtown area. Last time we were here it was a stop on our party bus route and we had a hard time getting people to leave for the next stop! I find that the bartenders are straightforward. Not rude as others proclaim. I think it is a busy place and they get a variety of customers in there so they seem like they naturally are bracing themselves for anything… to be expected in downtown Houston! If you’re wanting a fun rooftop, variety of drinks and good music I always consider sunset as my first stop for that combo.
